Has the club got any intention of putting on some halftime entertainment this season, as when we reformed we had quite a lot of halftime entertainment and people really enjoyed the experience, I remember the drummers fondly and some cheerleaders too, Just wonder if this was free cost or had to be payed for as this could possibly lift the mood a little and add some fun. Something the club should think about ?, What's people's fair opinions ?

Could draw five 50,50 winners out to have a go at scoring a pen or crossbar challenge or something else, to win a season ticket or a shirt or free entry or whatever, maybe.

I think it is important that we do have some sort of entertainment as it would improve the overall matchday experience. I remember in the early years that Lupus did crossbar challenges and penalty shoot-outs with kids which we are lacking right now. At Torquay last week the 50/50 winners took part in a crossbar challenge with the winner's winning some money. We are a community club so we should be bringing the community closer on a matchday.

Half time entertainment - I would be happy just to be entertained for the other 90 minutes

I personally would welcome entertainment in the 45 minutes either side of half time that would be good for starters

Seem to remember that the club looked into doing something like this, but couldn't do it as it required some sort of public liability insurance. There have been the odd occasions where we've seen half time shootouts. Who can forget the chance to win a car where it appeared the hole in the wall was smaller than a size of a football. Mrs Hopkins tried her hardest, bless her! My personal favourite was the £50 one from the Terry Smith Days. Simply score from various distances. Tenner for each one that hit the back of the net.

In the 2011/12 season, the club used to set a football question about Chester on the website which fans could email the answers in to the club. I remember being picked out as the winning entrant and at halftime during our home game against FC United I had three attempts to hit one of the goalposts from within the centre circle. I can't remember what the prize was for doing it, but I can remember putting the ball just wide of the lefthand post with my first shot! The other two were nowhere near. Maybe something like that this could be brought back again

Could we have a 'team of the week' to do certain half time tasks (a bit like Soccer AM) - score as many from centre circle or from corner flag in a minute. Winning team at end of season wins a prize. Also be good to get dancing troops, drummers, martial artists to do demos etc. Mind you, I remember a dance troop about 3 years ago who were quite racey at times!

How about we invite people of diversity onto the pitch at half time? I feel strongly about this coming from Shenzhen that we should have minorities paraded onto the pitch at half time to give the younger fans a better understanding of what they are, Muslims, Jews, Sikhs, Pagans, Shintoism followers, and it promotes the club to all religions and makes us more open and loving to the human race

Would be nice if our mascot actually attended games Indeed. The club have made a big thing about the Community/Family section and the Junior Blues and obviously we parents tell our kids in exciting tones what to expect. I've lost count of the times my lad has reported back to his mum after the game "Lupus wasn't there today." It's pretty poor form but sums up the general loss of the community ethos and loads going on by the way of half time interviews, penalty competitions etc on matchdays (plus the special one-off events like Armed Forces, Think Pink etc) since the first couple of seasons when Durkin took over and everything went "professional" - it had to happen, but not at that price.

There's a very good article in this month's When Saturday Comes about this. It concludes that things like half time entertainment makes the match day experience better especially for families, even when the club hasn't spent that much money on it, and has helped gates go up across the Football League (the article is about the family awards the Football League give out). So it's a no brainer really.

To be honest I think it is down to a lack of volunteers.

Has anybody got any links with D12? Ok they were "fans" of the Oldco but I'm sure we can get Eminem, Bizarre and the crew involved with the reformed club.
