Higgins will not be given an interview: he has nowhere near the required experience level.

Behave. Higgins isn't being taken seriously by anyone, I'd be surprised if Moore was considered after the disdain he showed for us, Davies almost certainly hasn't got the required level of experience. If Holden wasn't interviewed & any of those three were I'd be raging.

Troll alert - Higgins' CV would have been put straight were it belongs if he has applied for the role - in the bin.

Can't see this being the short list unless Bignot is already lined up or no one else has applied!! Other 3 should have no chance for differing reasons. Seems the campaign to promote Bignot by some is well underway with a number of new posters floating his boat!! He may well turn out to be the best available candidate but you would hope that there was a stronger short list than that suggested.

Not a bad shortlist. I've stayed quiet as so many people with opinions that shouldn't really be said and think anyone who applies, gets an interview and performs in it to be accepted should be given a chance. Personally I prefer Bignot as think he ticks many good boxes. However, if Higgins or Davies perform well in the interviews and are seen fit by our board to run the team what right do we have to disagree with it? I say whoever is selected let's get behind them and cheer our new manager to success

Fully agree, let's just support whoever the club choose, don't know why some names are being given such a hard time! We all know if we were offered it, we would accept it in a heartbeat!

Absolute bollocks. We need an experience manager, like Graham Barrow, not some Gordon Hill type appointment, who has no experience of managing, anywhere, in England or in the conference. Millionaire backers, where have I heard that bullshit before? lol

Irrespective of his lack of credentials, I think Higgins has treated the club and the whole application process with little respect. You don't see any other candidates dropping little riddles on Twitter, or getting blogs written about themselves, and I'm sure he's either posting on here himself or getting his mates to do it. He comes across as a dishonest and sneaky character to me, and these latest hints that he has significant financial backing are just vulgar.
Look up "reputation management". That's what his whole application smacks of to me.

Would fully support him, maybe a Davies/ Higgins job? According to some people Higgins has got millionaire investors behind him from the USA! Who knows what to believe! Bullshit

I think we got to remain open, i am not saying he said those things, or that Kevin Davies has a house close by, just what I'm hearing, but who knows what to believe. None of us know what's really going on!

Met up with a mate tonight who is a Massive Birmingham fan, he said Bignot did wonders and worked miracles when building up the Birmingham Women's team, and did it all with absolutely no help whatsoever from the club, was all down to him and he took them all the way to the women's Prem. He spoke very highly of hima, and said you could do an awful lot worse than him

I have suggested Bignot for the job for some considerable time. Let's wait and see who the shortlisted candidates are.

It does say applications from credible candidates which should preclude Higgins from the shortlist regardless of how many of his mates post on here.lol

I can't imagine for one minute that the Higgins application is anything but a wind up - but if it isn't and Higgins gets the job above someone of the record of Bignot - Chester would be committing football suicide - and I say that as a Wrexham supporter #dontdoit

There would be uproar if he even got so much as an interview ahead of some of the other candidates who have applied.

In a perfect world surely the board will go with Bignot but I'll never forget the day Ian Rush got the Job, bloody clueless and didn't have one once of Football Management in his brain, crazy considering he was a playing legend. It also comes down to who the board think can work with a shoe string budget.
