Hi everyone,
I'm new to this forum after being on DC1. I live in the midlands now after living in Chester for 20years. I love seeing the blues and was wondering if there are anymore games around me for the rest of the season? I missed solihull as everyone did.
Thanks.
P.s. Bignot should be our man

Sorry mate. I've just looked on the Non League Matters site, which has a map on it of the teams and Solihull are the only Midlands team.

Where about are you now based? I'm Sheffield (apreciate it's not midlands!!) so manage to get to Solihull etc, as well at the Manchester based sides and teams like Guiseley (Leeds) away games.
Guiseley isn't a bad one, but its new years day! so not the best.

I'm based in Worcester so south of Birmingham, but too far for Bromley, Woking etc... down South and Guiseley, Barrow etc.. up North. Really bad location, didn't think about the lack of midlands national league sides when I got offered the job :/
I went to Guiseley last season when I was still living in Chester, not a bad away day, but too far I think on nyd

Wrexham is in Wales (obviously) but it isn't too far away for you is it?

I have a similar problem living in Cleethorpes. Wasn't so bad over past few seasons though as managed to get to Grimsby, Lincoln, North Ferriby. Closest to me now is Guisely I think

I'm in Alfreton (J28 of the M1) for my sins so also dislike the lack of Midlands games

Living in Solihull we used to have Nuneaton, Telford, Tamworth, Kidderminster and FGR all as easy hour or so trips. As already pointed out apart from Solihull Moors there is nothing else under an hour and a half away. Nearest ones I think are Macclesfield, Wrexham and our home games. Then you are looking at the likes of borehamwood in north London. So in short it's not great this season.

Thanks everyone. Yeah I think I will just end up going to the big important home games. Hopefully see us win a few after 9 months :/
