Interested to hear from fans as to what extent they will follow the Blues on their travels.
Do some go to just home games, or nearby away games. Do you have a limit as to how far you will travel?
My brother saw every match, home and away last season (except the Cheshire Cup) despite living in London.
I am not as dedicated and tend to put a three hour drive each way as my limit with the odd exception such as cup games, or Wrexham and Tranmere. Being Bournemouth based, that means I rarely take in a home game or an away match North of Solihull. Can still be a long trek to some Southern matches such as Dover.
What's your normal travel time radius?

If I can get to the game I'll be there. That's the case 90% of the time. Was at Dover on Saturday and hoping to do 40/46 games this season.

Go every away game if I haven't got my daughter. Go every home game.

Being based in the West Midlands nowhere is any more than 3 1/2 to 4 hours away. Tend to get to as many as I can. I tend to struggle with home games midweek as it's very difficult to get through the M5/M6 traffic and still have enough time to get to the game. Work commitments have changed so I can now make every Saturday game which until this season wasn't previously the case. Extending this thread further what's your favourite away day in this league?

I enjoy a trip to Torquay, it's the only game which I set off for in a different direction. We had such a buzz of away support with five, six or seven hundred regularly attending away matches in our first three years. I didn't get to many Northern matches but it was a real buzz with great away support in those times. We had a good atmosphere, lot's of varied songs many tailored to each player. It's a shame that's ebbed away, and we barely muster the occasional "Come on City".

I only missed 4 games in the first four seasons (league games). All of those in the first season when I had other things planned. In seasons 5,6 and 7, I probably missed about 12/15 mainly away games. This season I've driven to Torquay and Dover (and stayed over), but after Saturday when we were woeful I think I'll leave it until some hope returns. At the moment we are hopeless.

Agreed I like Torquay as an away game. I'm not sure how much longer they may be in the conference if around at all? I also like Macc as well simply because there is a great fish and chip shop within sensible walking distance, the back drop of the Peak District and the general atmosphere when we visit. I also like to try and get to ones that I previously haven't visited. You are correct with the way our following has dwindled down and the knock on effect on the atmosphere. That said we haven't exactly had much to get us going recently. The Solihull Moors game was perhaps the worst display I have witnessed for a long time.

Used to love away games and in my late teens I didn't miss a home or away game for 3 years. Then a mortgage came along and more recently a daughter so I don't have the money or time to get to always these days - I will probably end up doing about 3 all season. However I've got my season ticket so still make most home games, hopefully we can win one soon!

Spent most of my teens and 20s doing 90% of all games. Some very, very fond memories of those times. I think that I've done 150 or so different grounds watching the blues. Nowadays I'll still do some away games but not every one as once was the case. Reasons being a) cost b) Dad doesnt go anymore c) lost interest in going to the likes of Woking for the 8th time for example d) life circumstances changed...partner etc e) interest in other football. I'm a season ticket holder but do miss the feeling of getting up at 6am for an Exeter away game when I was younger.
After enjoying the travels round Northern England between 2010-13 I really started to get to more and more different grounds especially in Wales. I've been to some amazing grounds that I would never have seen otherwise. Llanberis, Blaenau Ffestiniog, Harlech, Denbigh to name but a few. Obviously a low level of football but generally good fun and enjoyable.

I go to all home games and most away games. Me and my dad both travel on the Hipkiss to the away matches. Depending on school, I tend to attend all of the Northern ones (Barrow, Halifax, Guiseley, Tranmere etc) and quite a few down south (Eastleigh, Woking, Torquay, Dagenham etc.) However, sometimes it can come down to cost or distance, although I love a good long trip! If it's a half term I try to go to an away on a Tuesday. But this season I'm going to as many as possible , which includes Southern and Northern. Last season I managed to attend 32/46, but my target for this year is 35 which would be a great achievement personally. Regardless of what league we are in I will always follow the blues away. You just can't beat a good day out! ⚽️

Go to every game I'm not in work, distance no object as I'm used to driving 400 miles to Aberdeen for work.

Memories like the 4-3 at Doncaster with lifelong mates etc make all the utter bilge I've seen worth it. I read above people not going because we aren't winning... been supporting Chester long? We've never won. You were spoilt by a big club in a small pond and a canny manager with a good budget for 3 years. For the previous 120 years barring the occasional blip we have been rubbish. The almost constant lows make the occasional highs even more sweet. All homes now and maybe 5 or 6 aways, mainly on the train. My son has got the infection so will possibly increase aways over next few years.

Used to go home and away every season but now can't really afford to do it anymore due to having a family, but do all the Saturday home games and the local away days.

Good on you for supporting your local team with such dedication. Makes the victories so much more meaningful when you've been there and suffered the shite along the way. Keep it up!
