I'm never sure whether to despise Michael O'Leary or be slightly in awe of him. It's incredible that a company that shows such open contempt for its customers can be such an international success.
It seems that his next plan is to pretty much force pilots to delay their holidays. Anything to avoid compensating passengers or transferring them to a different airline.
The worst thing is, even though I recognise what an appalling company they are, I have flown with them before and no doubt will do again, so I'm part of the problem.

Bust by 2020.
Poor company, will certainly lose customers from this scandal. The only reason people fly with them is due to affordability more often than not, and at the end of the day that's all you really need when flying short distances. I see it was claimed that they lost well over 100 pilots to a rival company? Not sure how true that is.

That's it, people value low prices over reliability, professionalism etc. If it was something you used everyday you wouldn't put up with it but because it's occasional & because it's such a huge gulf between what they charge & the average fare people will keep using them.
Ryanair have claimed that there has been movement of pilots in both directions.
