The above statement is not correct. In reality 68% of the fans WHO VOTED didn't vote for Bignot - might be talking comparatively small numbers. Reading this thread, it's pretty obvious it refers to fans who voted. I saw two polls, both won by Bignot. One poll had 34 responses and the other 84. I don't know how many voted in the poll which returned 32% in favour of Bignot. I did a poll and it got about 290 voted, Bignot won. The Chronicle did a poll and got just under 1000 responses, Bignot won. |

I think what's important to remember about any online poll is that internet use decreases with age, and it's probably mainly the older fans that wanted Barrow the most. If you went round the ground and asked every fan individually who they want, I'm pretty sure Barrow would have come out on top. But it's irrelevant now and I think the vast majority are happy with Bignot even if he wasn't their first choice.
Same situation as with elections really. Everything you see online tends to be pro-Labour, but the Tories always end up winning!
