I think if there is one thing both Wrexham and Chester fans can agree on its that Tranmere are a bit full of themselves. Cook did exactly the same to you lot last season. Fitting that an ex-Chester player scored the winner last week in a way!
I'm still laughing at the thought of Tranmere fans singing "We'll never play you again" to us at a preseason friendly a few years back.
Karma's a bitch sometimes.

Yes, Karma can be a bitch at times................but with satisfying overtones. What goes around comes around !

Tranmere can't hack it. They've been told in Aerospace...By Chester and Wrexham fans... "Get used to it. You're going to be here a long time"

and this one. youtube2Badly miss away days like that. Yeah when you get chatting to fellow Blues about our Evo-Stik days that game always gets a mention. The scenes were wild enough when Simmo equalised but the winner was something else. Big crowd in a proper stadium, it really did feel like we were back in the League.

Anyone know how many tickets we have sold? Over 200 when I got mine yesterday afternoon Suppose a lot more will be sold after the game tonight. Think we only sold 400 in advance last season but ended up taking 1200.

Please note that Tranmere tickets will NOT be on sale after the match tonight. Anyone who wants an advance ticket but can't get to the ground 10.00am - 4.00pm tomorrow, Thursday or Friday, can buy their ticket by phone on 01244371376 for collection at Prenton Park on Saturday.

Seems an opportunity missed. Comes down to who is available to sell them though I suppose.

I think most volunteers will want a few beers and go home after the game and not really spend another hour in the office and you can't blame them

Why do they have to go on sale after the game? Could've just put them on sale in the bar before and after tonights match.

I'm not exactly there myself selling tickets so can't complain.

Really not looking forward to Saturday after that shit show last night! Can only see around 800 blues going as well now. And of course Alabi is nailed on to score.

I don't get why the club wasn't open after the game to sell tickets, I have a couple of mates who were at the game midweek but are unable to make it down in the week as they live away from the city, they may end up just not going saturday in the end.
If the club have no one to sell them can't they put a message for volunteers to help, etc.

Why would they not go in the end for the sake of saving the cost of a programme (or half a pint)?

Doubt Alabi will be playing and what I saw of him during our game at Tramps he wasn't very good. Its Norwood & Cook you need to worry about plus the pace they showed last night in the 2nd half but they are beatable providing someone in your team stops then running the right wing.

Unfortunately we're all too aware of the damage them 2 bell ends up front can do. Norwood scores virtually every time he plays against us, and with our rather slow paced defence/midfield it is quite concerning that if they do 'turn it on' we could be taken apart rather easily. Still I'll be there though hoping we can grab something.
