Going to stick my neck out and say that Dawson, will be the next player to be sold for a decent figure.
Thought he played well, in front of the back 4 , looking to pick up the ball and spray some passes around.
It doesn't always come off, but he was always looking to receive the ball.
Has the potential to be very influential, for us.

Thought he had a solid game today but gave the ball away far too many times. He's had better days imho.

There were a few moans and groans around me with some of his wayward passing and errors. But when he gets it right his cross field passes are brilliant and he was also unlucky not to score with a great effort today. He does seem to lack confidence and sometimes he tends to dally on .the ball, putting himself under unnecessary pressure. He also doesn’t seem to have great pace and can look a little ungainly when pressured. I agree though that he has great potential, and hope MB can bring him on, because he has ability .

Bignot must have gone the Gateshead game. Once Turbull went off injured, Dawson moved to centre mid in front of back four. He ran the game. Gateshead even made a change second half and tried to man mark him to stop him getting the ball. Of course he'll be inconsistent , that's why he's playing in the conference, but, has great potential.

He wouldn't be the first player with no pace to be effective playing in front of the back four. He's got some way to go It think, and it will be interesting to see how much progress he makes under MB.
I am also interested to see how other players like Joyce and Davies prosper (or not) under MB.
With the errors on the BBC I thought he'd gone straight to youth and put Jones straight into midfield 😂

Got a touch of class about him but gives the ball away FAR too often for my liking. The sort of player that can cost us points IMO.

Young player, settling into regular professional football. Never played at this level before. He will make mistakes.
I thought despite sometimes being sloppy the fact he kept on trying to pass and play, often succeeding, was excellent. NEVER hid, always dropping deep to the centre halves and full backs to take the ball on and play. Also won a lot of ball in the middle.
He brought a great energy to the side Saturday, hope he can continue to develop and improve under MB.

Hopefully the sort of player who will win us significantly more points than he costs us ... absolute joy to watch on Saturday - he has a quality that we don't often see in the conference - vision .... the weighted ball that he tapped through to but Akintunde in on goal was sheer quality.

Comes across a bit casual with his play sometimes, but I am sure moving forward if he can concentrate for a full 90 there are some bloody good performances in him.

Hopefully yeah. He did give the ball away a few times on Saturday in dangerous positions that put us under pressure. He wasn’t the only one though in fairness.

I think he's better centrally. Out wide left he is a bit of a wasted talent to be honest, often looking a bit lost for me. Has potential for sure, but i don't think he's the next likely fee personally, unless he can put in performances at a regular consistency across a season, which i hope he can.
Akintunde and Astles are two players i can imagine getting offers on. If Ryan lost a stone, he would be a very good defender, more so than now. Aki just needs to stay fit and keep playing like he did last game and he will be the next one in demand.

Bignot mentioned post-match that with his style of play there will be misplaced passes but it’ll be positive and played on the deck. Prefer it that way to the hoof ball we’ve had to endure.

The one thing he has is vision , he can pick a pass out others wouldnt see , with that he will get passes intercepted and misplaced and I am prepared to take this for what he offers . With Marcus working with him i am sure he will progress .
