It's a forum pal, just like having a chat in the Blues Bar. Unfortunately too many people think this.....and they're wrong. It's the problem with social media. You aren't having a chat with your mates down the pub. You're putting something down in writing for everybody to read. including the players that are being criticised.

Professional footballers should know to stay away from fans forums and I reckon most do. If their ego is too big to be able to do that then more fool them. Footballers having twitter accounts know they are leaving themselves open to both types of feedback, if they can't handle the worse of it then maybe social media isn't for them. As for footballers that vanity search their own names, it happens, then once again, more fool them. Footballers should either keep it 'private', not have one at all or just grow a set and not take offense when fans criticise you.

Its easy to use a forum behind a screen to slag someone off why dont talk to the player face to face in the Blues Bar ,They are our players and we should be behind them not stabbing in the back on hereIts a form of bullying like kids in a school yard. Get a grip. Bullying? Saying you're their least favourtie player? It's hardly slander. I'm in my 40s though and way past having favourtie players so can't really answer these ones.
