Forgotten forever, hopefully. The area it would take up must hold something like 200 cars. Where are they all going to go on matchdays? It'll cause chaos.  |

Well so we are told on the application, which is rather odd as I was parked right where one of those buses on the front row of the pic is situated on Saturday and I didn't see many spare spaces despite the low attendance figure. When we get the missing 1000 back again after Bignot works his magic then will some eejit at Stagecoach or the Club still say that it isn't used for parking? |

Fair enough. I was referring to their application & the fact that the car park attendants always send me straight on when I park at the ground.

Got to be a non-starter. The planning application already has a blatant lie in it for a start. And the council will surely have something to say about us sub-leasing land to park buses (sure there's a joke about McCarthy in there) when it's part of a sports facility

This is what I was saying to someone the other day, the car parks normally quite full on match days despite poor attendances just think when the crowds start coming back and if these plans go ahead it's going to be a disaster it's already painful getting out of bumpers lane after the game with all traffic just imagine what this would cause |

It's bad enough already when there's under 2,000 in. There's access and public safety to consider, and also the impact on businesses operating in the area. |

Current stagecoach depot on Liverpool road is up in front of council next week, to be used for student housing. Planning officer recommends approval, so once this goes through then Stagecoach moving onto the clubs land becomes a strong possibility ?
