We've always had one of the best away supports (as a proportion of our average support), but this season, for obvious reasons, its tailed off. 65 at Dover was really poor. You'd expect more than that from the Exiles, but nobody except the real diehards are going to put themselves out and pay their hard earned to watch what we've been subjected to in 2017. Let's hope that after Saturday's much improved performance the away following will increase. Let's hope we can take at least 1,500 to Tranmere. I err on the negative usually, but I feel really positive that we can win at Prenton Park.

With Bignot comes hope though, which instantly adds to our away support numbers, especially when MB said we will approach every game to win it and attack sides. It isn't helped by a large number of southern teams in this league either. Being honest, i can only see 1000-1200 at Tranmere, but performance against Eastleigh could add to that.

The away support at Tranmere will depend massively on the next two games, if we lose both I can't see us getting 1,000.

As Hannibal points out there is only so much people can take. There is almost a north south divide split in this league this season. Which obviously creates a lot of long trips. I agree 65 at Dover is disappointing there was a time when we would get approx 100 southern based at that sort of game. We were poorly supported at Gateshead as well, yet we took nearly 200 to Hartlepool which is only 40 minutes closer in travelling terms. The enthusiasm and willingness to bend over backwards to follow us will come with a steady stream of improved results and performances. Two decent displays and results from our next two games will certainly boost the tranmere following. Wum took pretty much double what they took to tranmere last season because they are doing well.

Dover and Gateshead are also two of the most uninspiring away grounds - and there's a long list. Eastleigh isn't great either. Think we will take a few more to the likes of Orient.

I am really looking forward to Orient, the last time I was there was for that incredible 1-2 victory under Ian Atkins when we came away believing in the great escape.

Are Tranmere tickets still available in tomorrow morning? A couple of old blues want to come along and asked me to get two tickets... They are, from 10am - 4pm. Or you can ring the club and do it over the phone tomorrow.
