It seems that the top 6 want a bigger share of the next TV deal instead of equal shares for all which is being opposed by 11 of the smaller clubs could this be the thin end of the wedge

If we hadn't reformed, I probably would have given up on football in 2010.

Anyone heard the rumour that Barcelona, Espanyol and Girona could join the Premier League should Catalan gain independence from Spain? Spanish FA could force the Catalan clubs out of their La Liga and Barcelona site the examples of Swansea and Cardiff having played in the Premier League despite being Welsh as well as Monaco in the French Ligue 1. Wouldn't want it to happen, but seeing Mancot posting about a European Super League, this does relate, sort of.......

I can see the appeal of the PL to many. It's just a shame it's to the detriment of clubs who genuinely deserve the support of locals.

Yeah because the Spanish FA are really going to want to lose the money Madrid v Barca makes.
When the ESL does happen (Euro Soccer League) It will involve all the major European sides. The Championship, La Liga 2 etc will become farm/reserve sides. I don't think a players draft will happen though.

The Wales and Monacan situation has little relevance as they just play in the nearest sizeable country, and I imagine it would be the same for the Catalan clubs and they'd keep playing in Spain - especially Espanyol who are traditionally pro-Spanish, hence their name. All kicking off over there today. Spain at it's oppressive worst.
