After today's performance, I thought it was blatantly obvious that we need another winger. One with pace, and can beat a man! Worth giving Matty Waters a try? Or a loan player?
Either way, trying to accommodate all the centre mids isn't working, and I'm afraid you have to drop 2 of Shaw/Dawson/James/Turnbull. You can't play them all at once, unless you want to play the old Burr/McCarthey reverse Christmas pudding diamond formation. Kingsley James is not a wide man, and I felt a bit sorry for what he was being asked to do.
Davies is painful to watch, and struggles to get past one player all game. Chapell is so inconsistent I find it hard to believe!
Please tell me something is around the corner.

Not sure why no one plays Marty Waters, in the few games I've seen him in he either scores or gets MOTM. He's got to better than Halls!

It's not nice signalling individuals for criticism but I dont ever want to see Liam davies in a chester shirt again. Looked like he'd been dragged out of the crowd last night. There are better players in the Welsh premier league.

Everyone lauded the 8 players signed during the summer, Macclesfied fans said 'not too bothered about losing McCombe, Halls and James' They signed Lloyd and Durrell from us. What a poor bit of business from out viewpoint. I wish Durrell was still here and James played correctly. The other 2 wouldn't be missed at all. Surely there's better out there than Halls and McCombe, who are thank God not on 2 year deals.

The reason the likes of Durrell, and Hunt, were let go by the previous incompetent incumbent were because they had the bollocks to say it how it is, which didn't conform with the manager's airy fairy hunky dory happy clappy line.

In fact it’s probably a compliment that the manager thinks he is most capable of playing on the wing. Personally think he’s done well so far this season.

James has been ok this season, but last night apart from King Ryan and LRT they were like a bunch of Chester and District players. Apologies to any Chester and District players reading this.

Stick James and Turnbull in the middle to give some steel and bite. Get Mahon out on the right wing and a new left winger in. Joyce and Dawson can go along with Fake Footballer to free up some much needed funds.
Lewis Turner is without a club. I'd stick him in instead of Halls. Andy can go and tell some 40 year olds what they should be eating whilst making them run 10k on a machine at David Lloyd rather than try and play football. He's been shocking for weeks.

Hunt has actually had a run in Mansfield's first team of late, and they're just outside the playoffs in League 2. Whatever the reasons behind it were, McCarthy's summer dealings are starting to look worse and worse.
