Ryan Hedges one of first youth team players has been called up for the Welsh national squad.
Ryan unfortunately never made the grade at Chester but continued football at Flint before going to Swansea and now at Barnsley. great lad and a message to all young footballers. If at first you don't succeed try and try again.
Well done Ryan fully deserved a great lad and a message to all young footballers. If at first you don't succeed try and try again.

Sometimes players don't sieze their first opportunity or are held back by injury, doesn't necessarily mean someone made a poor decision to let him go.

Ryan was released from Evertons academy at 15. He had a trial at Wxm, but never got taken. He spent 8 months with us, and made the decision to leave to concentrate on his education. He went to Flint at 18 after his A level exams, and has never looked back.
Great to see hard work paying off, good luck to the lad.
