I know its been done before but could we start a proper fund raiser for the manager to bring in a couple of his own choice players .i feel a club of our size a realistic target would be £35000 .not everybody could afford a big donation but i am sure there are a lot of people who could .if we want to remain in this league we need to act now as the team as it is is not good enough

Hi upsanddowns, I’ve approached the same subject matter within the ‘Which players should be worried?’ thread from a slightly different angle.
Nonetheless, I think it is very clear that we as supporters have to do a little bit more to give MB any chance.

You can donate now to Squad Builder. Or even better set up a direct debit and make a monthly donation.
If anyone wants to set up a specific fund I'd happily bung in some extra cash.

Agreed but Squad Builder, whilst invaluable, provides a steady stream of income every month whereas we need a rapid influx of additional funds immediately. I will be happy to donate additional money to the club if a fund is set up. If we can't help out a club when cash is needed, what is the point of fan ownership. |

Agreed but Squad Builder, whilst invaluable, provides a steady stream of income every month whereas we need a rapid influx of additional funds immediately. I will be happy to donate additional money to the club if a fund is set up. If we can't help out a club when cash is needed, what is the point of fan ownership. Agreed, going down would be the end of our hopes and dreams of regaining a 2000 a game attendance. Would really be catastrophic for the club. MB may be a man who can save us, but at the end of the day he can only deal with the cards he's already been dealt unless we get some funds together. |

Floating fans aren't arsed what league we are playing in, they'll come if we are winning games of football. Look at the attendances we achieved on our rise through the glue leagues. |

I think that was more the novelty of the new club not just winning football matches in my opinion. I think we would get stuck in the conference North and really struggle to bounce back, would be gutting for us all. |

I would be happy to donate to a squad one off fund to assist MB with bringing in new faces.
The ignorant and the board have caused the current circumstances we find ourselves in due to absolute incompetence which could of been easily avoided very frustrating.
