I have heard a very strong rumour, that their main benefactor has given the board 3 months notice that he is withdrawing his money, due to something happening at the club that he was very unhappy about.

Utter nonsense. 90%+ of CQN revenue is from the Welsh FA not a benefactor.

Utter nonsense. 90%+ of CQN revenue is from the Welsh FA not a benefactor. Seems a bit off that the Welsh FA would fund some of the nice wages those lads are on, and the full time players they have, all on gates of about 150.

The Welsh FA and UEFA fund 90% of WPL clubs. I know for a fact. If WPL's clubs finances were based on gate income alone there wouldn't be a WPL at all.

Old news this.
Dewhurst has said he's stopping funding in the next 12-18 months after putting in £2.5m over the last decade. He wants them to be a community club utilising their very good youth set up.
There was talk of him coming on board at Wrexham but I think he starts half the rumours himself to inflate his ego.

Yes it was reported funding would be stopped in 12-18 months, but I am told that something has happened at the club to make Dewhurst change his mind, and he has informed the Nomads funding will be stopped in 3 months, if this happens they are up the creek without a paddle.

The Welsh FA / UEFA fund 90% of WPL club turnover. FACT.

How do other WPL clubs survive on gates of 150 when they have no benefactor ?
It's because 90% of their revenue comes from the Welsh FA/UEFA.

They say never argue with a WUM, but come on then, back up your FACT?
The reason TNS (a team playing in England) can go full time paying over £40k/year to sone players is because 90% of their income is from the FAW?
Mike Harris has been funding it for years. Ditto Dewhurst at CQN, now Vaughan at Bangor etc. They put in upfront, then use the money from UEFA.
When the funding stops they plummet (see Neath, Rhyl, Airbus etc).
Nowt to do with the FAW.
Without Dewhurst Nomads will be lucky to stay in the WPL for the next 2 years.

Having been involved with one of the clubs you mention the scenario is as you suggest and once the benefactor leaves within a very short time you will find yourself losing all your better players and end up scrabbling about for local kids, ageing journeymen etc because the better footballers will go where they can get the most money. The Euro money comes from qualifying for Euro Competitions (so is only paid to those who qualify) not from a philanthropic UEFA handout as Whopper would want us to believe.

More utter nonsense and false info. I know for a fact that the top TNS earner is on nowhere near this figure. Why lie ?

It was a player we were interested in signing when I was a director. Fact. We never signed him. Fact. You will now come back with more hare brained guesses trying to look like someone with half an ounce of something resembling knowledge trying to get gullible divs like me to bite. It will probably work.
