By my (admittedly back of a fag packet) calculations we need to average about 1.3 points per game for the rest of the season. This means every 3 games we need to at least win one and draw one. As it happens this is what MB has achieved so far - can we keep that up for the whole season?!

I'm sure we'll go on a run soon, something like 15 unbeaten and the 2 year contract will come back out!

I'm not overly worries yet as we have looked much harder to beat since MB came in, we also look fitter! However there is a little gap opening up at the bottom if you look above Barrow. We're about 4 points from the nearest team in Fylde if you discount Barrow, who have the finances to bring players in and get out of the hole.
A couple of wins could see us looking much prettier, and we can rest a bit easier looking over our shoulders, as opposed to playing catch up.

Assuming that 52 points is considered the amount required (it's often less than that) we need 40 more points from 32 games. That's 1.25 points per game. That would mean for example 10 wins, 10 draws and 12 losses. MB has achieved that so far. Early days but beating Kidderminster is massive. That £12.5k could make all the difference.

I didn’t realise that’s how money we get to win in this round 👍

The FA Cup money is massive for a team like us without a sugar daddy and it increases incrementally round by round and I think we get 40 or 45% of gate receipts. That £12.5k could get us a player that might make all the difference between finishing 20th and 21st (a winger?).
