Hi guys Was just wondering how many people on here have season tickets? Thinking about getting one next season Might be a bit cheaper next season ~ step 6 football, lol. I have one and it's not free Rio. Would you still come if you had to pay?

Majority have to pay and still donate money to the club, at the end of the day it's our club and every penny counts towards being a successful football team with a competitive budget.

I do pay money for the club such as away travel, merchandise, junior blues membership etc. and I was a season ticket holder before I even volunteered.

Are there any plans to issue a Half Season ticket? They mentioned the 10 match version at the AGM last week. Check out the website.

When you're a successful whatever you can pay the club back by becoming a mysterious anonymous donor and boost the budget beyond the £1m mark.

Hardly something to boast about Not really considering I work for it. God help you when you get a real job if you think throwing a ball to a player is 'work' 🤔

Give Rio his due though, he's definitely a proper committed fan. I have a season ticket (no good anymore for the sodding Wrexham game though). I'm selling the ticket of viagogo for £500 if anyone needs to get in., Good seats as well, you can even monitor Rio's work ethic really easily.

I do have a ‘’real job’’ outside of the football club which i get paid for, but this is just something which I got asked to do and I love doing it. From what I said before, I ‘work’ for my ‘free season ticket’, as in giving my all. You don’t seem to understand the difference between ‘work’ and ‘working for’ do you Jonah?

Strange thing cfc fans on one hand they moan about poor gates .on the other they moan about a young lad who lives and breathes cfc .this is how to drive away supporters and volunteers.so he gets in to the game for free .for doing a service that people are not queuing up to do. and doing it very well.dont knock it just volunteer

Giving your all being a ball boy deserves a free season ticket? Where do I sign up? Why don't you pay for your season ticket and help the club out financially like the rest of the volunteers and fans do? 🤔

Maybe it's changed this year but I'm certain the volunteers all had to buy their own season tickets - including those who often missed chunks of the match such as programme sellers and turnstyle operators.

Previously, I was a season ticket holder before I got asked to volunteer half way through the 2015/16 campaign so I had to give half of my season ticket up. However, it’s not my fault I don’t pay for a ST now is it? Complain to the club, not me. Also, I do help the club financially. My post near the top lists a few things which I pay towards the club. Is that enough? Don’t come moaning to me just because I help the club out on a matchday. Sychdyn Blue: As far as I am aware, Ball boys have always been allowed free entry to home matches. I understand your point that other volunteers deserve free entry as well because they do an outstanding job, however ask the club why.

I'm not arguing with a child but next time, let's not boast about having a free season ticket when most of us fork out a lot of money to watch Chester home and away.

I have a season ticket and will probably stupidly put in a a three figure sum into the "Maniac McCarthy Messed Maguire's Masterplan" fund. However, I don't begrudge this young lad getting a free season ticket. You can tell from his posts he loves the club dearly. It's a shame there wasn't another several hundred of him as the club would be in safe hands.

Doesn't he get the free ticket because he's a ball boy? If that's the case then it can't be criticised as he's standing in the freezing cold for six months helping the players.
We don't need several hundred ball boys but we need several hundred kids with his passion and love for the club. I'm not going to get into an argument about this lad's season ticket but I'm sure when he's older and working he will be financially helping the club like daft sods like me and you do.

Not particularly. Just didn't think it was wise for someone to brag about getting free tickets.
