Sadly, I think you're right. You can absolutely see it's a wage packet for him and nothing more.
As limited as some of our other players are, I'm not sure any of them don't give a shit to the extend AH does.

The fact he had a childish twitter rant over the summer over money he was owed from Macc should of told us it was only ever money he was interested in. He doesn't want to play for Chester and doesn't give a shit about our club. Ask him to find a new club. |

Not nice to single out players but in my opinion his attitude sucks. You can see from his Twitter that he's a right moaner, and as a player he looks a calamity. Don't like him and neither must Bignot as a former right back himself. For all that Joyce is a limited player I think he always puts a shift in.

McCarthy didn't fancy him but his judgement is shown to be appalling with the 8 players he signed especially the 2 year deals. Imo the only player who should have got a 2-year deal was Ryan Astles. |

I said in the summer Hunt and Durrell were the two players we would miss and I still maintain that.
Durrell is flying at Macc and we have no play remotely like him, meanwhile we gave Mahon a two year contract despite being injured more than fit.
We should have been on the look out for a new manager end of last season and let the new manager bring and keep his own players in the summer, now we have a new manager who probably doesn't want most of this lot.

I definitely agree that we're missing Durrell, but Rowe-Turner has been a pretty good replacement for Hunt. Hunt's a bit better, but Rowe-Turner's picked up a lot since Bignot has come in and he's probably a bit better going forward than Hunt. Rowe-Turner was one of the very few who came out with any credit today for me (Akintunde, McCombe and Astles being the others). Halls on the other hand..... dreadful. |

I'm no statto but he was probably in the top three for challenges made. But Jeez his passing is probably the worst I've ever seen from a chester player. Was it him who put the ball out for a corner from the half way line? One of my worst ever moments as a chester supporter! |

Halls must be dropped for both his and our sakes.
His confidence is shot to pieces and/or he's simply not good enough
But he got dog's abuse yesterday and personally, I was a little bit uncomfortable with it.
Yes, criticise and tell him to "get his finger out" etc during the game.
Yes, voice your displeasure with him and the team at the end (we all did yesterday)
Yes, go hell for leather on DC
But, the level of vitriol aimed at him directly from a crowd he was physically close to was, in my view, almost counter-productive
Problem is, we ain't got a ready replacement
