Marcus Bignot did the right thing making players face the fans after the disgraceful showing at kiddy , the players we have are lucky to be playing for us as they are utter shite !
Making them train harder and earn their money is what is needed if they don't like it leave and get a real job!
Going forward MB is the strong manager we need , he has instantly identified the piss poor culture that JM had in place , it will take time to change this and until he can get rid of the dross players we may suffer relegation .
He has identified the need for size, power and pace....we have several big players but they are weak as piss (Astles aside) can't run , aren't fit and have no pace or desire !
If our playing budget is mid table as is suggested at meetings then player recruitment has been very poor, we need hungry players who will give us everything and who realise how lucky they are to be playing football for a job.
While relegation may be a blow in the short term it may give us a bit of breathing space financially and a chance to build a proper structure to compete in the longer term .
