just read that barrow manager been sacked after 2 months in charge thats crazy i agree being dumped out of the facup by a much lower league club didnt help but surely any manager coming in needs time especially coming in mid season with someone elses players. based on this maybe marcus bignot under threat? i would hope not

Not that it'll be his fault.

He’s only been in charge on a permanent basis for 3 weeks, Moore.

I can see this happening much more frequently as clubs at our level are bankrolled more and more. I'd like to think that as a fan-owned outfit we would always act with more dignity but not to the point where we ended up with JM i.e a fair crack of the whip

I think they made a mistake really giving the job to a rookie caretaker who hadn't improved things during his interim period. As shown by the quality of applicants we got, and Solihull landing Richard Money, there are some quality managers looking for roles with even the struggling teams in this division.
As regards us, I really think we need to give Bignot the full season and put our faith in him next season too, pretty much regardless of what happens this year. He's got a huge job on his hands and in reality, I don't expect him to keep us up, sadly.

Conversely, we could name the toilets 'Maccas' as he has dropped us in the shit.

Bizarre appointment in the first place, shame they couldn’t have waited another week

Wherever Mad Macca ends up I'm lumping as much as I can on him relegating the unfortunate club.
