Did we play a behind closed doors friendly yesterday? Marcus Bignot seemed to allude to a game on Tuesday in his after-match interviews on Saturday. A mate of mine passed the ground yesterday at about 4.30 and saw what appeared to be kit hampers being loaded into an unfamiliar coach.

Think he was arranging a fixture to have a look at some of the fringe players. Not sure who it was against or who those players would be.

I already like him more than Halls! Jones apparently had a very good game, time for him to get a game? He's supposed to be very highly regarded, I thought he looked impressive against Runcorn in pre-season & I genuinely doubt he could be any worse than McCombe.
