After the farce of the cancelled Eastleigh game fans being offered a POSSIBLE refund of travel costs for those who also travelled independently those affected fans advised to contact the club. I was one such person wrote to the club about 10 days ago when this story first emerged NO RESPONSE Wrote again a few days ago ,,NO RESPONSE not even an acknowledgement of my emails
What has happened to the promise of a response to emails by the CEO within 24 hours? another short lived promise and another example of how the club treats its fans no wonder gates are down the way the fans are treated This subject has been discussed so many times before but nothing improves just false promises. I received better "service" from Eastleigh when i made a couple of enquiries poor show when a club gives a "rival" a better communication

What address are you sending them to?

sent first one to general email address on website turns out it was the office one they replied(fair enough) and said they had forwarded it CEO Second email sent to fans @ email address which i have used before. i read somewhere that eastleigh had said they received a number of emails from blues fans and had forwarded them on to chester hence why you didnt get a reply from EFC you are lucky to get a chester response i didnt

I’ve emailed Fans@ and Mark Maguire directly twice but still haven’t received a reply. I’m becoming a little concerned as I’m hoping to make the rearranged fixture and don’t want to pay coach travel again without any compensation.

im glad(in one way) that its just not me who is not getting a reply as mentioned in my thread a reply from the CEO was promised within 24 hours that promise didnt last long did it ? the CEO is not a fan hes just there for the job he doesnt care what the fans think and its not surprising people are getting fed up with this obvious lack of caring attitude its fine for ALAN to post on the forum a while ago about any questions send to fans website but if he does not get the support from a paid employee he must get fed up too about being let down as someone suggested in reply to my thread today i emailed MM direct yes youve guessed it no reply at least its free admission on november 4th helps with the overall cost but i certainly would not pay coach fare from chester again without knowing i am getting some money back from the postponed match day travel MM was stood outside eastleighs ground with the rest of the staff on september 30 as if he was bothered they had had a wasted journey he doesnt care it was done out of duty in my case i travel from bournemouth not too far

Does this come down to members solely reading manifestos without fully knowing the previous contributions that have been made by nominees? It was surprising to learn that the Comms. Director was re-elected so emphatically after three years of seemingly nothing. I say seemingly because we don't really know what directors have contributed - and that's the whole point!

Look you obviously have a bit of inside info about the club, you can tell this from your posts, but saying that the CEO of a company renewed a managers contract isn't lying it's a fair assumption.

For a project I was doing a while ago, I anonymously emailed every club in the FL and National League, along with a few from lower leagues, with the same query. Chester was the 19th club to get back to me, which out of 120-130 is not bad really.

Sorry I don't get this hangig the bloke out to dry. It's not just down to him at the end of the day it's down to the CFU and OPERATIONS BOARDS as well.
I see and hear criticism aimed at the CFU Chair and CEO but very little criticism aimed at the Ops board as a whole. We have lack of communication from the CFU board particularly the accountability and updates on people's roles and responsibilities. But who exactly are the Ops board and what are their roles in all this mess as well?? What are THEY doing to turn us back into a Fan Owned Football club with the Community it's very heart and soul?

its not having a go at MM we are told to direct any questions queries etc to fans @ email address and they will b e replied to within 24 hours MM seems the person who takes responsibility for replying to this mail box and in fairness to him he has fulfilled this promise to my queries in the past however the excellent response time has now gone downhill and i am not alone in feeling frustrated as can be seen from comments on this thread

2 people who work/volunteer at this club told me on Saturday that people who originally paid for coach travel (including me) will get refunds on the day or at another away fixture. Also there is going to be free admission for Chester fans as well.
