Why do you defend incompetency ?
Did you know Maguire was on 50k per annum to kill our club ?

Where have I defended him? Surely you haven't got confused again whopper? Must do better tut tut
I'll give you my opinion anyway. I think he has done some good work with increasing sponsorship, but the things you castigate him for I don't think you or I have enough information to blame him for.
He wasn't here when McCarthy was appointed, and the decision to extend the contract and to appoint Bignot were made by the board. How much influence did Maguire have? I don't know and, neither do you

Asking someone do they have a brain is not abuse. It's a valid question. Calling someone a scroat is abuse. Just re-read this, absolute classic A valid question! Lol you do give me a chuckle

I'm just imagining Dr. Whopper at his clinic asking his assistant the perfectly valid question "now, before we start this operation, can you confirm whether or not the patient has a brain?"

Maguire is our CEO. He is the leader. He carries the can for ALL club decisions. He is ultimately reponsible. Period. He must go now. He earns 50K per annum to literally shaft our club every week he is in charge.

... well, it didn't take long for that ridiculous comment that all the decisions are made by the board. Absolute claptrap. If the board made all such decisions then what is the point in having a CEO? The role of the board is to endorse and support the CEO, and in this case they appear like lambs to the slaughter, conceding without a whimper to all that Maguire sets before them. In the case of this club he has far too much unchallenged power, hence being more spoken about by fans than CEO's of other clubs. Forget all the community nonsense, it's the performance of the first team that leads the club forward, or in this case backwards rapidly. In such respects it is clearly Maguire that has led this capitulation. Regardless of what sponsorship he brings in I doubt it exceeds what would happen without him by in excess of 50k. This being the case, coupled with his input in getting the club to this dire position, then we would be far better without him. Sadly it's probably too late! Please note my reference to community nonsense is purely in the context of what leads the club, before any little love children make their usual childishly derogatory sniping remarks. In my opinion you are culpable in the rise of Maguire. Hang your heads in shame.

Let's assume you are right and MM is responsible for every little tiny thing that isn't perfect. Why do we have a board? What do they do?
Standard business practice is a CEO makes recommendations to the board, not make all the decisions.
To be clear I'm not a supporter/ apologist of MM. I don't know enough to be sure one way or the other. I just think it's farcical to lay all the blame on him

At last some sense and a great post.

The board will advise. The CEO will have the final say. 99% of the clubs demise is down to Maguire. He has blood on his hands. He also "has previous" at other clubs he has killed. An utter disgrace he is still at the helm.

You are defending the indefensible. You will come to your senses one day and realise Maguire is incompetent. Nothing more and nothing less.

Do me one little favour. Read this thread back from the start. See where I first said anything at all about Maguire?
It was AFTER you asked why I defended him! Before I even said anything about him!
What you are mistaking (This time, you do seem to get confused a lot) is me mocking your hypocrisy with me saying anything to support Maguire
The fact that I think you are an comedy character who talks a lot of nonsense, doesn't mean I think anything about Maguire one way or the other

You clearly support Maguire as anybody who dares call him incompetent gets a mouth full from you.
As far as me talking nonsense well I can tell you more and more fans are agreeing with me and I talk to lots of fans every day.

we should all buy whopper3 a pint , 150 times he has warned us about this deluded, incompetent fool that is mark maguire and he's been shot down time after time, seems the penny is finally dropping with the ever decreasing congregation that as long as that prick is around the club, soon we will be back where we started or worse Yet another top quality post. Stop talking to yourself

I mocked the irony of you complaining about abuse minutes after abusing someone else. In your mind that means I support Maguire! How bizarre I'm anti-whopper not pro-Maguire. Or is anyone who doesn't like you automatically on the side of Maguire?
