His track record for making long term decisions in the best interests of a club is historically appalling and financially crippling. He can sign all the sponsorship deals he likes and make all the media 'performances' he likes, but if he can't advise our senseless board correctly then the long term financial implications are grave. 1,400 fans there today, a squad full of inadequate players and a side firmly planted in the relegation zone - that's the bottom line. Work backwards from there and decide upon whether the strategy that he has overseen is effective.

The real poison at the club today was the shit they served up in the tea hut. For that alone Maguire should go. Maybe they should diet Astles with it. He'd soon be up to the required size.

From where I'm standing he's made several good connections for the club. Whether we can keep these sponsors is another thing. The board do have to answer for several things. But it's worth remembering that what ever decisions they made, they thought were right at the time. The real blame for me is the footballing side of the club. |

We are a fan owned club who receive no communication from our fellow supporters who, are on the board and I for one think it's disgusting. There needs to be some accountability from these clowns and a discussion around why they thought it was a good idea to let Mr Burns, spaff the budget on those disgraces who wear the shirt with no pride or effort. Not everything is Maguire's fault in fact very little is. I dont care if the board are volunteers they are tearing the heart out of the club. |

I agree, in the early days we had the likes of pilsbury, banks and durkin forever giving interviews and statements to the media. Now we have the Maguire, a paid employee, he seems to be a one man show. |
