Barrow on Tuesday has to be one of the most pivotal games we have had since reformation- it's really massive to not sink into the abyss a massive 6 pointer - Bignot is really trying to shape this team and he gets my full support for trying to shake things up - he will have a clear idea now who is up for it and who is not - he is not the Messiah he has been in charge only 5 games and I am confident he will turn us around - Barrow is a must win - Let's give it our all we must stay in this division - COYB

I'll be bringing a bloody golf club to swing at our under-performers on Tuesday night - how's that for showing our metal?
It's "mettle" by the way Fred - though don't let that point detract from the fact that I echo your sentiments.

If the team that ended the game today starts on Tuesday I think we will win. At least Turnbull showed he cared when he came on. Need Akintunde and Mahon to be fit as well.
Please Bignot never play that shower Dawson, Chappel and White ever again.

Chapple should never again wear a Chester Shirt The Great White Hope is sadly hopeless Dawson I really don't know but agree they are all poor Dawson is a joke of a player. Gets the ball away as nauseum, hoofs aimlessly forward at every opportunity. He tries 40 yard forward ground passes on a 110 yard pitch and common sense would say that it will be intercepted by an opponent. He made one successful pass all game. He's a total liability and wastes possession at every opportunity. Get rid!

Been saying this all season, I don’t understand why people were mentioning his name as one they’d keep, because he’s scored a couple I suppose.

Time to show our wood may have been a better idea! If that doesn't put off the opposition, nothing will.
I reckon we almost need to go back to Atkins tactics. Don't try to pass it around through midfield. Be aggressive in there. That means Shaw, James ( if he's up for it) and one other, harassing them all match. Clear the ball down the line, rather than back passes. Balls down the channels to run onto. I know it's not pretty to watch, but it isn't anyway. That way of playing is easier when you're struggling. Players know what to do and it removed the pressure of having to play it around when there's nothing on. That's why Pulis, Warnock and Alladyce tend to play that way. Maybe change to a more passing game later as space opens up.
To be fair to Dawson, he never hides in a game and is looking for a forward pass all the time. There's not many others that are doing that. Part of the problem is that no-one makes themselves available to receive the ball. Our movement off the ball is non existent at times. Not easy to be the playmaker when no-one makes any runs to get into space.
