Info taken from Wrexham OWS:
For those supporters heading to Chester on Wednesday, we have some updated information.
There is the possibility of a hold back of Wrexham fans after the final whistle – a final decision will be depend on crowd behaviour, both pre-math and during the first half, with an announcement being made at half time or just after.
If a hold back is required, which could be for up to 15 minutes, then the catering kiosks will remain open after the final whistle.
Transport will be provided back to Chester station for those who are travelling by train, both to Wrexham and other destinations.
Also, an additional train back to Wrexham (11.14pm) has been booked and this will cater for supporters not able to get onto the 10.28pm service (which is usually the last one of the day).
Roads around the stadium will be closed to traffic following the match – to half way up Bumpers Lane and a section along Sovereign Way.
All cars on the main car park, will exit at the back of the car park onto Sovereign Way and then onto Sealand Road at its junction next to the Jaguar car showroom.
Additional police patrols will be in operation throughout the area as supporters disperse post-match.
The Away Travel Club coaches will be escorted both into and away from the ground.

Can someone explain to me why there will be a large chunk of seats closest to H block that will be unoccupied thus lowering attendance AGAIN?! They're in separate stands to H Block, why the need for chair space too ffs. To stop objects being thrown? plus we all know the 50 or so who like to stare at each other for 90 minutes. They all love each other really It's a joke - I wish the 50 odd on both sides who don't give a damn about football would bugger off and not ruin it for football supporters. I don't wish to sound pessimistic but the chances of the next derby being a non-bubble are slim at best.

Everyone is aware that away fans in home sections will be removed from the ground. Question is, what happens then? Are they just left outside to do whatever they wish? Are they escorted away from the ground - to the station, for example? Or are they detained by the constabulary?

I used to post on deva chat years ago but got banned for a number of years so gave up. I think I have mellowed a bit now and enjoy the banter on this site but of course a little of the old corner flag comes out prior to these games don't worryback to normal Thursday no matter what the score is.

I have the same concerns about it being a 7.45 pm game and 'freedom to travel' now - as I did the day they announced the match arrangements. I think they've got it wrong. Unless there's some hidden agenda. Everything was running smoothly as a 'Bubble Match'. People had no fears about taking their kids, their cars, walking down Bumpers Lane etc The fact that it's been moved from a Friday to a Wednesday because of TV broadcasting doesn't change my mind much either. The S.A.G have set themselves up for a massive operation. They've messed around with Wxm's allocation only to change it just 3-days before the game. Surely the sensible thing in recent weeks, considering Wxm's league position etc, could've been to give us the whole of the West Stand as well? I don't think anyone's going to raise an eyebrow if they hear that there's been problems before the game in the centre. 2 groups of people intent on confrontation. It's the normal football fan minding his own business, walking with his kids from his car etc I'm more concerned about. They've made a strange decision on this games arrangements. We'll soon see

Surely the best plan of action is to hold away fans back for 15 mins anyway and clear the area of home fans, therefore limiting the potential for trouble that you'd get if everyone was let out together.

Some people saying its close to a sell out, so wouldn't that be over 5,000?? Not expecting that many but what is our full capacity in these games with all the restrictions?

May be close to selling out, but the capacity is much reduced on police advice. It's around 4250 I believe, anything around 4000 would be great to see

I think it'' be a case of them staying 15 minutes after the game, regardless of the result, if it's a Wrexham win there won't be any problems.

For the sake of the reputation of both clubs on national television then let’s hope it’s a great match enjoyed all and no trouble.

we had 5,009 vs Northwich. I'd love to know why a near sell out is just over 4,000.
