Following the report in The Chronicle, who do you think will go out on loan. I reckon Joyce, Walters, Davies and one or two of the young lads. Think we need Jones and Chappell as cover so doubt they would be loaned. Happy if Halls is but doubt it.

I'd keep Joyce around as cover, he's not very good but injuries can stack up there and he'll do for the bench.
I'd definitely look to get Brown and Crawford out playing football, Jones is probably required as cover but then again I suppose LRT and Halls could now be our cover in that department?
Chappell needs to go, permanently ideally but a loan would be a good start.

I think Matty Waters is a player with potential, but he needs to be playing - not just training. If MB thinks he can't be in the match day squad at the moment then he needs to be out on loan to a Club that will help him develop. Similar story with Nathan Brown - but I haven't seen a great deal of him. Disagree with Hannibal who wants Mahon moved on. He makes things happen on the pitch. Maybe not in the starting 11 every game but coming on from the bench he can turn a game with a piece of skill. Also his commitment to the Club is not in doubt imo. Davies and Joyce never really impressed and should move on. We now have six strikers (not counting Brown). Hannah, White, Akintunde, Bell, Zanzala, and Archer. I know Zanzala and Bell are loanees so presumable not adding too much to the wage bill but having six guys competing for two-three starting positions could cause tension in the squad. Maybe Bell should return to Gateshead?

imo craig mahon may be a club man committed to the club and buys into the fans ownership model but hes always injured nowadays and you dont win matches with injured players i think it was a mistake to give him another 2 year contract 1 year would have been enough with an option i seem to remember reading somewhere he has commitments elsewhere and cant train on the required days so perhaps its best for all concerned he moves on but would he ? as we know he has twins so needs an income and being on a 2 year contract thats assured for the next 18 months i doubt he would get such a long deal now elswhere

Love Craig Mahon but I think the times come for him to move on. Been a good servant to the club but not the same player anymore and his injury record is poor and we can’t afford to keep passengers, top bloke but need to move him on.

I don't think Mahon will be loaned out. Even with the new signings he's still one of the few players in the squad that can unlock a defence.
Waters, Davies and Crawford would be my guesses. Maybe a striker too when Akintunde's fit again. It'll take a bit of time to get rid of players like Chapell and Joyce I think.

Going to be a difference between who we want out as fans compared to who cant commit to the extra training and will have to go. Bignot will also need to balance the books so two or three decent earners will have to go.
Crawford and Brown to go out on loan. Chappell, Davies and Joyce would go for me. Throw in a couple of big earners like Hannah, potentially Shaw and Mahon. I would love all three to stay but we can't bring these new lads in without outgoings.

Re players to loan out - all 3 expect youth players to give them game time and experience, all decent prospects but need to be on the park. Chappell - had too many chances, ability but no bottle or end result Davies - great left foot but needs more than that Joyce - squad player at best Mahon - one of the best on his day, but those days are no longer often enough Hall - defensive cover, has experience and can play CB The remainder would look to keep due to loan players returning to parent clubs in January
