This new sponsorship is part of the reason why it's important to have the televised games. It makes it easier to get additional sponsors in.
Not everyone was happy with the date change, but this is one of the benefits. The TV money will pay the police bill too. Without the tv games maybe we wouldn't have had new signings??

I am really pleased to have agreed this sponsorship.
Ever since I had to stand down from the board due to the arrival of my son and the pressures of the business, I have been looking for ways to get back my involvement.
This was the ideal way to do it, along with our continued sponsorship of Ryan Astles shirt, matches and programmes sponsorships.
With Marcus making his mark on the squad, now seemed a good time for investment and hopefully our small contribution can help.
I wish to express thanks to a Mark Maguire for facilitating the deal and drawing something up in time for the Wrexham game.
It’s been handled very professionally and I’m looking forward to having our logo on the shorts for the Wrexham game.

Totally agree about a former board member wanting to help the club which is great but according to Whopper 3, Maguire's so incompetent, these things tend to be ignored in his world though. |

My comment was not meant in any way negatively about MM. It was aimed at earlier posts praising him for the deal, when it was actually something that came into the club rather than the other way around. Simple as that.

I would like to re-iterate that without Mark there would have been no deal.
I would like to defend Mark and say that the way he conducts himself at the club and the manner with which things are handled are extremely professional and I personally think he's doing a superb job.
You will never please everybody but from my experience, he has been a pleasure to deal with, both on a business level and a personal level.
Long may our involvement continue.

theres no doubt MM is doing a good job bringing in revenue into the club but thats what he is paid for after all
now lets hope he starts to reply to emails sent within 24 hours as promised still no replies to the 3 emails i sent regarding possible eastleigh travel expense refund
i dont mind if the answer is a no but a reply would be nice (and professional as we are told he is)
