Bit low down isn't it? Would have been better development surely going a level higher??

Once you get below the Conf North I don't think there's a big difference between the leagues really. Runcorn Town have taken 37 points from 39, they're probably good enough to play a couple of divisions higher.

Good luck to him. Hopefully he can come back fighting for a place.

Are they the good Runcorn or the bad Runcorn? Similar setup to Northwich and Scarborough IIRC.

Not Runcorn Linnets.
They used to be called Mond Rangers and play at Pavillions. Knocked us out of Cheshire Cup couple of seasons ago.

Yeah its the smaller (in terms of support) of the two Runcorn clubs. I think they have a couple of ex Chester lads playing for them including Kevin Exell who was useful I seem to remember for the youth team here a season or two ago. Chris Herbert obviously still has his connections here.

Paul McManus, that's a blast from the past and Mark Reed for Newco as well.

fulltime Barnton 1-4 Runcorn, Runcorn Town FC @runcorntown
Crawford gets the ball 30 yards out and plays a lovely ball into Holt, who finds the bottom right corner to give Town the lead
