Who’s got it? How’re you finding it?
I’m really liking the way you can filter players by HOW interested they’d be in a move now.
Probably the biggest change to the previous iteration in 10 years.

Wish I could get this game but my Laptop is in the dark ages. I really need to get an upgrade! You get more bang for your buck with a desktop & they’re easier to build. Plus if the only game you play on PC is FM then you don’t need to worry about buying an expensive GPU which will save you a lot on a new machine. |

I am half a season through the game with Chester, Zanzala who I had to loan is a beast!!!
Archer isn't on the game and Gough isn't worth signing while Hall-Johnson won't join.
Got us mid table which is decent considering we are predicted 23rd.
Made me laugh how McCombe is a star rating higher than Astles, maybe Whopper3 made the ratings haha

I have started off at Solihull. Like to do a Chester save once I have seen how they do under the management of the computer. Took Solihull as they don't have a manager to begin with on the game and quite fancy the challenge, as they have the smallest playing budget in the league.
I've brought in:
Offrande Zanzala (loan, Derby)
Josh Lundstram (loan, Crewe)
Fumnaya Shomotun (loan, Barnet)
Noah Chesmain (loan, Millwall)
Sebastien Lodahl - free
Oladapo Afolayan looks like he could have a little bit of potential and will hopefully get me enough goals to avoid a relegation fight. Sean St Ledger should help at the back as well, rated a 'Leading League One' player. Shame his contract only runs until January and he currently has no interest in signing a new deal.

Started up again as Chester after full game release. have to say Jordan Archer is a monster on the game.
Currently 5th after 28 games with Ross Hannah top scorer. I play 5-3-2 and have signed 5 loanees that basically play week in, week out. at right back, centre of the back 3, 2 midfielders and the other rotates with Gough at left back. Lynch broke his leg so got Speiss from Nantwich, what a goalkeeper. Mahon is my impact when I change formation and White is a demon if Hannah/Archer are having bad days.

Update: end of my second season.... Promotion!!! got to play-offs in fifth place, beat hartlepool on pens. then ebat Guiseley 2-0 away and beat Dagenham and redbridge at Wembley 2-0. Mahon scored in all the play-off games.
Predicted 24th in league two so going to be a tough season. Just hoping to survive.

Might purchase this in the next week or so.
The kids any good? FM17 Matty Waters, Alex Lynch, and Sam Hughes all developed into quality players for me. Waters despite having a lower CA rating than Horwood had far better stats, 20 for pen taking, high rating for free kicks and corners and decent pace.
Restarted a career on FM17 the other week, got 6 games left at end of the first season, and Waters leads my scoring charts!

In February of the first season Currently sat in 9th. Hannah has remarkably got me 40 goals in all competitions already so far but a run of 9 league draws on the bounce is grinding my playoff charge to a halt. Not brought many in, got a young lad from Blackburn on loan at Centre back, Tyler Magloire, had injuries to Astles and McCombe so needed cover and hes's been decent and kept his place! Turnbull and Davies seem to have a habit of scoring 25 yarders too for some reason!

End of my second season, came 14th in league 2, I'll take that considering we were predicted 24th. Done a revamp of the squad in the summer and predicted 18th this time. the only players still around are Kinglsey James (backup) and Jordan Archer, re-signed Alabi so hoping those two get a great partnership going. also signed hall-Johnson permanently but he isn't cutting the mustard so far. 3 games played, 3 draws.
