I'd rather shit in my hands & clap. I wasn't asking you to go, all I said that they are at the Racecourse.

Is that the group where one of the members disappeared?

Is that the group where one of the members disappeared? No that was Richey Edwards from the Manic Street Preachers.

He's still missing and presumed dead, if you're being serious.

Stereophonics at Wrexham Racecourse 2nd June 2018, I think the tickets are on sale now. Second time in a couple of years ?? I guess there are not that many Welsh bands they can invite really.
Still - I am sure their boring, bland pop will sell out and be very lucrative to the club.

Thought their first couple of albums were pretty good but they've become very 'Radio 2' since.
I think 'stadium rock' is usually pretty boring and overpriced anyway. Much prefer small venues these days.

He's still missing and presumed dead, if you're being serious. I remember reading this story years ago and dismissed it as a publicity stunt. If he's still missing is he presumed dead? Are there any theories about why he disappeared. I would only guess some kind of mental breakdown, but people usually turn up eventually like Peter Green did.

Much prefer small venues these days. I agree - Saw the Temperance Movement at the Live Rooms on Monday. Excellent lighting, a few pints of Trooper, right at the front and ringing ears the next day. And as for the band - They were staggeringly good. Watch out for their new album next February.

Some information about him here.He hasn't been seen since 1995, and had a history of depression and self-harm. Likely he jumped off the Severn Bridge.

Thanks Lobster ... I didn't know any of that. What a sad story about a really unwell young man.

Being a Welshman never got the love for the "big three" of Welsh music MSP/Sfonics/SFA
Now if you wanted to see a proper Welsh band back in the early 2000's then Anweledig were the boys to see.
Outperformed all the "top stars" at Sesiwn Fawr Dolgellau

Got in for my tickets early - no doubt there will be plenty of Chester folk there - they are most welcome as we get the profit from the concessions.
Chester supporters will be most welcome.

Stereophonics have always been a bit third rate. One half decent hit and they’ve dined out on that for years whilst doing bugger all else. Apt that they are at Cae Racist for that reason. Just like WFC.
The Manics with Richey Edwards took some beating. Still think the lad is still alive and the song “Some Kind of Nothingness” infers this. One of the most talented musicians Britain has produced.

Around 16,000 tickets sold so far. Bloody hell, a Wrexham fan going on about attendances. Well I never thought I’d see that! How does it feel knowing a bang average band can sell out (to quote the Manics) the shit and rubble that is the Cae Racist when your football team can’t?

I will ignore the bit about Wrexham attendances - coming from a Chester fan it's self evident that is laughable. However, interested in the racist bit - where did that come from - racist against whom?
