Hi everyone, Easyfundraising is a donation website where you add an extension onto your browser, and when you make a purchase online, a donation will be sent to your cause at no extra cost to you. The cause we will all be supporting is our club, of course, so I've dropped a link below to the City Fans United page. It's a fairly simple process to sign up etc and the site guides you through everything. City Fans United have already received over £5000 through this website - if we all use this website, just think of it's potential! You can be buying anything; your weekly shop, a flight, a holiday (I'm sure many of you will be booking holidays and flights for the summer - this will mean big donations for the club even though you haven't spent an extra penny), it's easy money for the club and at no extra cost to you. So I'd ask you all to please look into it. Thank you. CTID. Link >> www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/cityfu/ <<

I always try and have a look through this page before buying anything on line. The rewards vary massively dependent on the merchant but it's well worth it to get some extra funds into the club.

You can also set up an alert via the website so that if you are going to purchase something that is covered by easyfundraising it will tell you so that you can go through the website and get the contribution. (Although this can be a bit hit and miss at times!).

It's been pinned so it should stay at the top of the page for the foreseeable. I would be interested to know why people don't currently do this? Anyone care to share?

Just to add to this, as well as buying items from Amazon etc, where you will typically get a 1% donation, you can get large one-off donations for certain things. I got a £30 donation on my car insurance, £50 on home insurance and regularly use the likes of booking.com to get small percentage donations on large transactions, such as hotels. It really is a no-brainer to use it.

Yes, you'll generally get a much bigger % cashback on other sites (e.g Quidco , Topcashback etc) for yourself! For example, I bought some stuff this morning for my office from Ryamn - 2% cash back on easyfundraising (to your chosen organisation), 8% on quidco (to me !). No contest. It's a no brainer though for purchases from Amazon or John Lewis who don't appear on other cashback sites although my purchases from them go to another club I'm a member of.

I attended the car boot sale today and was surprised at how many people there were, at least 60 sellers and 1000+ browsers/buyers. We need to take advantage of this footfall around the ground and get some much needed revenue by opening the Blues Bar and possibly even the club shop especially during the closed season (unless there is a clause in our agreement with the organisers)

Especially with Christmas shopping just round the corner.
My tiny little village cricket club has raised over 2 grand in a couple of years with only about 15 members - it's basically 'free' money to the club as it doesn't cost the consumer a single penny more than normal.
It's especially good for home and car insurance (I've had one off donations of up to £30 for this) - but things like train tickets and hotel bookings can be good too.
Also, it's so easy... shop as normal - if the online store uses Easyfundraising, an icon will flash in your top bar - just click on this to activate the donation and carry on as normal.

Does trainline work? I book all my trains for away games on there.

Where does the money donated come from?
I believe the mantra: 'you don't get nothing for nothing in this world!

Basically companies pay Easyfundraising like they would an advertiser & they share the profits with your chosen cause I believe.

In the last 30 days your cause has raised £91.36
Just a reminder with Christmas fast approaching we all could do shopping online via Easyfundraising , it costs nothing for the consumer but supports the club financially .
