I'm still waiting for Steve Burr to thank us all for the money we raised last time round.

I'm still waiting to hear what it was spent on. They took your money and that was the end of it. Would be great for the club to be able to say 'You raised this much and this is who we brought in....' It's basic common sense marketing.

Not sure it's wise to invite fans to empty their pockets of loose change tomorrow night!

How are we getting on with this now? Money could be vital for bignot in January to bring one or two in to help our brave fight against relegation?

If Bignots Budget Bucket Collection means the money will go towards paying him off, count me in.

Well it's not been well invested thus far. Udoh sat in the stands today and quite clearly not good enough. Why are people going to dip their hand in their pockets with outcomes like this?

The whole concept just doesn't work, I don't think. It just makes people more and more resentful that their money isn't being well spent. It pushes the budget beyond what we naturally take in, meaning we need to raise at least the same again next season just to have the same budget, and the less reward people feel their getting for their donation, the less likely they are to donate again, as the very poor takings from this year's efforts show.
Not sustainable, in short.

I'm considering whether I'll put any more money into this club with the way it is at the moment. I think I'd rather pay £3 to watch Whitchurch Alport, a better standard of football.

If that is the way you feel, then nobody can blame you. Why you feel the constant need to pre-warn everybody of your intentions each time we lose a game is beyond me. Enjoy Whitchurch.

I said unless things change. How it is now is as bad as Barnes, Gutterman, mad Terry and SV. Hopefully something will change, but I don't know what. I'm hurting and I coming on here to moan alleviates some of that pain.

Who the hell are Whitchurch Alport? Sounds like the name of some kid who’s mum has had four kids to four different men.

It's the Whitchurch semi-pro team. They used to play in a Shropshire amateur league, but applied to join the NWCL1 (step 6) at the beginning of 2 seasons ago. They reached the play-offs last season, but lost in S/F. Ben Mills plays for them. Their ground was created on Alport Farm, hence their name. I went to a game last season against City of LiverpooL FC in which they had a crowd of 643 (very good for that level). They're doing ok this season too.

Bignot has wasted any money he's had already - and we still don't know how much the previous collection raised or where it went. If anybody puts money into this, they'd be throwing it away!

I bet your PC has been like a painter’s radio over the past few days seeing our demise. However, one decent thing about relegation will be the fact that I don’t have to go to that shithole where you exist. Now take your tacky little bucket hat and denim shorts and go and watch your VHS of that convicted criminal scoring his goal against Arsenal three decades ago.
