Chron running with naming people arrested, referring to riots and quoting random people about mindless football hooliganism'.
Not going to give them the clicks as I would guess it is to incite feedback like this.
Did anyone see any riots?
Did anyone see football hooliganism?
Is this fake news?
Will the club call them out on it?

Handbags for about 10 seconds at the Cross at 3pm. No arrests made at all - just six dispersal orders issued (the same punishment rowdy kids get for hanging outside shops at 10pm).
Sensationalised bullshit.

The chrons report yesterday had reference to someone's tweet in which they claimed the whole incident at the cross lead everyone to believe it was a terrorist attack !!!!

If I mention ISIS in this post the Chron could run a story off that perhaps?

Usual suspects at the top of bumpers lane asking if I was a Chester fan. Didn't bother replying that I have been for 45 years😀

There was a scuffle between a couple of middle aged men at about 3pm at the cross. My mate was a witness.
For the paper to describe this a a "riot" is laughable and I have today filed a complaint to the press regulartry body in London by email.
There is more aggro in town after a day at Chester races. Is this reported as a riot ? NO.

I anticipate the celebrations to last till Sunday night at least

Re the footage at 3:18, the number of police officers reacting & getting involved to quell the disturbance is pathetic compared to how many on were on duty at the ground. Compare this to the number who came in to the stadium to stand in front of the Wrexham fans & H block near to the end of the match. Glorified stewards picking up some easy overtime. And as for the police helicopter...absolute waste of money. It was still hovering over the ground as I left the Blues Bar at 10.20. I want to feel safe at the match so understand the need for a strong police presence at the derby game, but the handling of the behaviour at 3.18, to me, shows that they don't deal properly with the (relatively) few idiots intent on causing trouble & instead there are too many of those on duty who are just stewarding.

Close this thread down not worth glorifying mindless idiots from either side It is not glorifying. It is pointing out the misinformation that is now being passed off as fact. If we get fines or bubbles again based on this 'evidence' it is everyones fault for not calling it out.

Pretty disgraceful chanting about a dead fan again isn't it?. Even after him Mum and family publicly asked for it all to stop. And then you've got Chester 'people' attacking innocent Wrexham fans who are queuing up outside a turnstille to get into the ground. If they had been 'risk supporters' they'd have been surrounded by the Police. Then you've got six supporters attacked who were minding their own business by the Club car park gates making their way to the away end. The odds were heavily stacked in the Chester contingents favour in both incidents.
Disgraceful.

In the cold light of day you wonder whether these people will see themselves in this video and think, "what was I doing?!"
Football has a habit of turning people into idiots.

Remember when they laid into that lad outside the Racecourse a few years back by the garage?

Not like I’ve heard at least three separate incidents of Wrexham lads confronting Chester fans in shirts walking alone. One was even disabled and unable to defend himself. Disgusting goat pricks

Contrast to the scenes in the Blues Bar before the game with red and blue all mingling jovially - that's what it should be about and that's what I enjoyed most as a home supporter without the bubble.
