This is why we have a fighting chance of getting out of it. We are not that good, but those around us appear to be no better.

Good set of results for us. Just makes it all the more annoying that we didn't get at least a point on Wednesday.
The bottom five or six are looking a bit cast adrift, but there's usually a team that pulls out of it and one that gets sucked into it. It would be nice to be the former for once instead of the latter!
Alabi is a quality striker who I still think will go on to slightly better things. Mellon and Tranmere just don't understand what type of player they've signed. He looks like a target man, but he's actually a finisher with a good touch - which was exactly what they needed when they played us.

An Ebbsfleet win would be good as well. They play Orient at 17.30.

Cracking set of results for us today. We need to take advantage and win at Orient.

That's took his tribunal up to £500 Does anyone know whether they will consider Alabi's tribunal fee at the precise moment he left us or when the tribunal takes place? Be very unfair if it's the latter

Orient look like losing, which makes our game with them a big 6-pointer a week on Tuesday.

I think it's at the time of the move, although this article says something about the possibility of "staged payments" based on a player's success. The way I see it, he did well for us and is doing well for Dover. Don't know what Tranmere did to him but that's their problem. It's not our fault if they don't know how to get promising young players to play well.

It feels like there have been a lot of seasons over the years where us and Orient have both been similarly crap at the same time. Traditionally at a higher level though.

It's beginning to look like Torquay and Solihull are doomed and we've got them both at home at some stage. There's then a group including us, Barrow, Leyton Orient and Guiseley all within 3 points of each other. The game at Brisbane Road Tuesday week is massive and it must be viewed as a game we can win. Winning that would be a tremendous boost to our survival hopes.

Knowing our luck, Orient will sack Davis and replace him in time for our match against them - cue new manager bounce.

If any club is going to get sucked into trouble from outside the current bottom six I would say it would be Halifax, who seem to be on a poor run now after being in surprisingly great form a couple of months back. They've got a decent enough cushion above the bottom four at present, but won't have if they don't win again soon.

The positive thing for me is that, despite the year we've had, we haven't been cut adrift. In fact, one win would see us out the relegation zone - surprising when you think about it.
We're now on an upward trajectory. Hopefully results will start to match the upturn in performances - and we'll start hauling in some of these teams above us.
Some of the sides in this league have been poor. Barrow were shocking. Maidenhead too. Even some of the top sides in the league haven't had the same fear factor as past seasons.

We could do with one of the forwards scoring on a consistent basis. Archer is an effective target man who will probably chip in with a few goals. Akintude may be his best partner. Zanzola has raw potential and could come good.I have give up on Hannah. White needs to show a lot more. Bell hasnt really been given much of a chance. If it were me I would try and ship some of the latter 3 out by Christmas and try and find a goalscorer from the lower leagues

He and Archer the favoured pairing for me.

I wouldn-t disagree with that. It would give us some height in the last third. If Halls Johnson is injured. I would go 4-4-2 with Zanzola, on the wing to give us some pace.
