With two tough away games before the live lunch time Dagenham game would it not be an idea for the club to be sorting some pricing initiatives out now with just under two weeks to go?
We could potentially be looking at 1,500 for this in front of live TV cameras, and I would imagine not many Daggers fans will be venturing 'oop North' for a 12.15 kick off.
Just a thought?

Spot on Ron D.
We keep saying this every game and it appears nothing every gets done, i feel like a parrot repeating the same things but nothing ever gets done.
Why aren't we just getting kids in behind the otherwise empty south stand? Why is nothing being done? Not a priority? Not of interest? Lack of people to help? The club have got to start communicating with the fans.
Bignot is saying all the right things, bring a mate to the game, etc. He is a guy that you can get behind and i really hope we have a long term relationship with him as he is definately the guy to take us forward.
Why the hell arent the club taking note and doing anything, we had nearly 3000 home fans on Wednesday night, even if another 300-500 out that extra 1500 decided to come back it would be a good effort.
Gate will be back to 1500-1600 as usual for this game.
Sort it out.

Don’t worry Ron. A few weeks/months ago the community trust announced that they are doing another parade for junior and school football clubs around the area. I think they will be in the South Stand which will look a bit more appealing on the TV. This is good as it would improve the attendance/atmosphere and the children may be excited for being on TV. I remember the Gateshead game back in February on BT. We were all expecting a low crowd on a freezing day but the Trust managed to arrange a half-time parade which attracted over 400 kids behind the goal. community.chesterfc.com/schools-sign-up-to-parade-for-chester-fc-clash-with-daggers/

At least.

If a kids school doesn't sign up to it why cant they just go along and take advantage, its restrictive. How about we get some of the kids on the pitch at half time for a penalty shootout, as a kid it would class to have the chance of doing that.

Even a small advertisement in town will be a step in the right direction. Couple of weeks ago I walked past a Joshua vs Takem sky sports advertisement on an A4 poster in Northgate Street...surely between the fan base we have can do something as simple as that to spread the word about our fixtures throughout the city The emailing of the poster for an upcoming fixture has also stopped. I think Martin Huxley had a hand in those and they were OK. I'd always print a few off and post them around work, it justs helped remind people that there was a football match on most weekends.

I was going to distribute the posters to each household for the paper round which I do every day. I emailed the club about this a few months ago and haven’t heard anything back since.

Anyone seen the posters Lewes do? Well worth a look if not seen before. www.lewesfc.com/category/postersAnother fan owned club, doing well this year. Incidentally, they charge £30 for membership, not £12.

May I ask, would people prefer to have a link on the website in order to print out and put up around Chester, or posters created specifically for social media?
I agree that the Lewes FC ones are really quirky and memorable and likely to engage Joe Public - a similar monthly poster for Chester FC would certainly help.

will watch the game from the warmth of a croydon pub with a couple of other chester fans, as we are doing palace stoke on the cheap train tickets, shame we didn't get a leaflet through the door to promote the game, as i'm sure we would of changed our minds, and watched the game in bar fifteen or the mill hotel

One who then knows it's on and would decide to watch it in the pub! Marvellous!

Disappointing the club have seemingly done nothing about this.
Good opportunity to hand out freebies or at least discounts, given we'll make at least a bit of TV revenue. We don't want 1400 in front of the cameras, but sadly that looks like what we'll get.
