When are we going to have some sort of update on the extent of the players out injured. I was asked in the close season what I considered would be a good addition to the Matchday Programme, I suggested that it would benefit with a Treatment Room Report, other clubs do this. How badly injured are Mahon, McCombe and Shaw, and how long are they likely to be out? What is the extent of Halls Johnson's injury? The supporters deserve to know.

Mahon has been out about 6-7 weeks which just looked like a kick where you would we back the following week.
It doesn't help when we are not told the nature of the injuries.
What is the big secret? Not buying into this so the opposition don't find out.

as has been said so many times before(alot by me on various threads) the commuication to the fans is so poor you get fed up at moaning about it we moan and someone at the club does something (a gesture) then its back to normal as for craig mahon he says he loves the club(which i do not doubt)but he is a liability spends more time out injured than playing . last season he didnt play after was it february? and this season hes had more injuries/ time out than most have in a season and its only november to give him a 2 year deal was madness close season it was said there was interest from elsewhere fair enough offer him a 12 month contract and if he goes thats ok no one man is bigger than the club. i dont blame him for signing a 2 year deal if offered after all he has a family to support. i wonder how he is going to solve the problem of 4 days a week training if he has a job elsewhere too?

There really does seem to be a problem rehabilitating injured players. Perhaps we need a different doctor and physio?

Anybody see the list of club staff in the summer? It was a plethora of training, rehab and physiotherapy staff! Perhaps a case of too many cooks spoiling the broth.

Not convinced that Mahon is injury prone other than the style of football he plays makes him a target for dirty opposition players .... i'm very hopeful Bignot can take Mahon to the next level .... the plan should be for Mahon to beat three players then pass it ten yards for Dawson to smash into the top corner of the onion bag .... coyb's

For me it’s last chance saloon for Mahon, needs to get back to full fitness and stay fit, get injured again and I’d get rid.

A little bird told me that Mahon might be in contention to take part on Tuesday.

Hall-Johnson likely to be back next Month Hamstring not as severe as it could of been That’s really good news as he could be pivotal over the Xmas period when we have a run of games from which we have a realistic chance of a good haul of points. If Mahon is back next week that’s good news too but am worried it’ll take him a while to get match fit (and get used to playing the new MB system) and have an impact.

Really like Hall Johnson. It's noticeable that MB is trying to instil pace into the side.
You look at a lot of opposing sides in the league and they are either quick or strong - and the best ones are often both. Last season we were neither.

On a more general point, why do we have so many injuries?
When JMc was here players disappeared for months at a time. However, since MB has come we've had loads of players get injured. Including those who aren't playing games. Are they all getting injured in training? If so, are the players that keen to impress that they're injuring each other? Is it the change in training methods, or intensity?
