Just our luck before we go there from the BBC website
National League club Leyton Orient have sacked head coach Steve Davis.
The former Crewe manager, 52, took charge of the O's in July following their relegation from League Two at the end of last season.
However, the London club have won only five of their 19 league matches in 2017-18 and are 19th in the table, three points above the relegation zone.
Ross Embleton and Dean Brill will take charge on an interim basis while a successor is found.
"There is no doubt results haven't been up to the required levels over the last two months," said chairman Nigel Travis, who completed a takeover of the club in June.
"We showed a lot of promise in the early part of the season and unfortunately that hasn't been sustained, so we felt it was time to make a change in order to give us the best chance of turning our fortunes around for the second half of the season.
"Steve came in at a difficult time with a shortened pre-season and a complete squad and staff rebuilding process under way. He worked tirelessly and professionally and we know from the players how much they enjoyed his training ground work.
"However, ultimately football is a results-based business and whilst we knew this was going to be a challenging season, we did not expect to be so close to the bottom four at this stage."
Former Burnley defender Davis managed Crewe for more than five years until his departure in January.

Shame really - we may have stood a chance against a team managed by a snooker player 😉

Alan Alger always reminds me of the type of betting man that if he throws enough darts, one day he will hit the bullseye. Problem is when he does hit it, his wall is full of holes around the dartboard.

I was at Crewe Lincoln Saturday the only way they will get out of Lincoln is league 1 he's happy there Lincoln have money Lincoln City are averaging around 8,500. I'm so envious. Our best ever average in this Subuteo ground was around 3,100 when we won this league.

A few seasons in League 2 and the novelty will wear off.

They have a good management team, a decent ground and money in the bank. What's to stop them?

They're not that good and their supporters expectations are way too high based on a good cup run.

Anything else is a bonus. You can't argue with the size of their crowds. Have you got some kind of resentment towards them?

I see on social media quite regularly that hardcore/original Lincoln fans have a lot of resentment towards the FA Cup bandwagon fans whose expectations quite largely exceed theirs. As has previously been stated a couple of season in League 2 with no fairytale cup run will see their gates return back to the 3,000 mark.
