Offrande Zanzala got sent back to Derby County yesterday after completing his month-long loan.
I would like him to come back really because he could be a good player.

Not really fair to judge him on what we've seen of him. I trust Bignot's judgement on whether to extend his loan or not.

We need an out and out winger instead of sticking fast strikers out wide.

Judging from the snippets I've seen from him he doesn't look like what we need and is a bit short of the required standard. As Dodge said, we need proper winger rather than sticking strikers who are fast out there. There's an art to being a winger, and there's a hell of a lot more to it than just being fast. Positioning is massive, you have to be able to provide cover defensively and at the same time get in space to make yourself available to receive the ball in an area where you can isolate their full back and drive at him. Its completely different to what responsibilities a striker would have, so its pretty tough to stick a kid who's a striker out wide.

Apart from that one run when he nearly scored, I hadn't thought he'd achieved much.
He looked like the inexperienced kid he is. Not sure he's what we need right now.

Dont need another striker, need a winger or an attacking midfielder in the Durrell mould.

Fluffed his lines badly twice in his short spell for us, a sitter of a header at the back post and the one-on-one he badly missed. Not arsed either way tbh

Could do with someone out wide that performs to a consistent level, ever if that level isn't absolutely fantastic. Someone like Curran/Ellison back in the day would be ideal. We don't want someone who's hot/cold in a relegation scrap IMO, you want a steady 7/10 and isn't afraid to get involved and doesn't go missing when we're under the cosh.

Not arsed either way tbh In fairness, if it's the one I'm thinking of (in stoppage time vs Barrow), he did beat the entire defence first! Agree about the header (against Wrexham in stoppage time). Perhaps too wide to go for goal, but he could have easily headed it across goal. Seemed a raw talent to me - capable of brilliance, but sometimes made the wrong decision. |

Not for me. I don’t see the point in loan signings that just don’t play. It doesn’t do our reputation as a good club to loan to any good. On the plus side, he’s pretty good on football manager!

Hard to judge on what little I saw but didn't look ready for it just yet. Maybe because he's been injured for a long period. But good luck to him all the same.
