It appears we have signed Myles Anderson on loan from Torquay until 30th January, he is 27 years old 6ft tall and plays in defence. Have the board released more money for players ? We seem to be signing people every week.

If true, then it’s good that we have bolstered our defence. However, where have you found this out from?

Gets slated on the Torquay forum for his performances and form. Does sound like he's been played at left back for much of the season, though.

Was sent off when we played there last season for bringing down Alabi.

Asked a Mate who supports Blackburn if he was any good.....got this response: “shite”. Apparently he’s the son of a football agent.

Most of our players would be shite if they played in the Championship. He's well-travelled certainly, having played in Italy and Scotland. We need a bit of experience and, most of all, pace at the back so let's hope he improves things.

Remember when Torquay fans told us how dreadful LRT was. He’s not been too bad this season.

He's had more clubs than Tiger Woods and he's only 27. As for LRT you're in a minority there puppet.

Irrespective of negative comments about him on other threads, we've just got to back our manager's judgement. His signings so far have been decent, so fingers crossed he continues that trend.
If money were no object, it would be very easy signing all the best players from this league. We're not in that position, so in all likelihood, most players we look at won't be like Xavi!

Bignot's recruitment so far reminds me a lot of Atkins. He signed a lot of players who had fallen out of favour at other clubs, but when they came here they looked really hungry and passionate. Hopefully once everything clicks we'll get moving.
Saying that, this particular signing doesn't seem to be confirmed anywhere other than that one site as yet.

Well he never became an established Premiership player. The dad sounds a bit like Vaughan .... who also somehow got games for his useless sons.
Also would our main rival for relegation loan us a decent player?

We can only hope that a change of scenery improves his performances. However, I'm feeling very underwhelmed, as we need to be shipping dead wood out, not taking on that of other relegation candidates.

I, for one, am quite prepared to wait and see how he does. I trust MB's judgement, only time will tell whether this lad's a success or not. Let's not rush to judgement before he's kicked a ball in anger

Depends on the reason why. It maybe a family issue, and he wants to move back up North. If a player isn't happy there, they may as well move him out and bring someone new in. Maybe one or two of ours fancy moving down South? Let's hope so. At least he'll give us some cover. We have to play a back three as we haven't two fit centre halves. Hopefully he's a little pace too. Good to see us bringing in someone who has experience of this league, rather than a young kid. Surely there must be some players leaving soon to cover all these incoming ones?

Remember when Torquay fans told us how dreadful LRT was. He’s not been too bad this season. really, boreham wood at home, he was absolutley dreadful, average at best other games i have seen, seems all we do is sign the shite nobody else would touch, torquay letting players come to us ffs, gives them a better chance of staying up i suppose

Here is some radical thinking. Let's give him a chance and then make our minds up.

Also 2 weeks in the Lakes. Not to mention a day out in London. Do I get a game?

Happy that we have signed him. Has a wealth of experience from this level, and from around the world. We all need to give him a chance though. I can remember Rowe-Turner getting criticised by Torquay, and he has really impressed me so far. Welcome to Chester FC Myles! 🔵⚪️🔵⚪️

Welcome to Chester FC Myles! 🔵⚪️🔵⚪️ He’s played 75 games in his whole career, calling that a whealth of experience is a stretch.
