What on earth was McC thinking when he extended his contract to a full season? As with Rooney he should have realised that siblings of stars do not work out (unless your surname is Charlton). Suspect it’s the right level and hope that it results in a move for him where he gets game time. Good luck Liam.

Spot on. Totally out of his depth at this level. It's good to see that Bignot is spotting what we could see but, for some reason given his career McC couldn't.

Signing Rooney worked out well for us, didn't end well but we got a good few years out of him. |
