I know the season is not yetat the halfway stage but just had a peak at the North league table and Salford City look to be running away with it at the moment so it could be another moneybags team in the conference next year at the other end of the table North Ferriby look doomed already with both Southport & FC United in the relegation mix. Shame about North Ferriby but whats happened to Southport & FC United

Have you seen Salford's ground recently ? unrecognisable from how it used to look

There's quite often a team that goes straight down to the Evo-Stik after being relegated to the Conference North. Altrincham last season, Hyde before that, and possibly North Ferriby this time.
Southport I think have problems in the boardroom - there's just a bit of a Vaughany stench coming from that club. FCUM I think are struggling due to the limitations of fan ownership, with Salford's rise also not helping them.

I have a feeling that he will buy them in the near future. Sad but not too surprising.

Southport's new backer Phil Hodgkinson is a local multi-millionaire and new manager Kevin Davies is being heavily backed in the transfer market in order to rebuild the squad built by Mark Wright/Alan Lewer. They broke their transfer record last week by signing a striker from FC United for a rumoured £32,000 with other signings lined up.

For National League North read oblivion. For a once proud league club who retained their status and then some while playing every game away from home I doubt we will ever rise out of National League North. A cemetery for once proud clubs. Heaven help us.

Our season in the NLN was brilliant. From the trip to Oxford in August to Turner’s header against Boston it was football heaven at the Deva. Let’s repeat that rather than lose to teams from the arse end of nowhere like Ebbsfleet and Barrow.
Get Youngy back with Hankin, Williams and Mills leading the line. We’ll shit ‘em!

As for our potential relegation to that level next season I bet we'd all enjoy that league a lot more than this one, especially if the Goats go up.

Don't worry the goats aren't going up we might go down though unless there are such things as miracles

I'd say the club probably needs relegation this season. Bignot said it himself in a roundabout way the other night.
