The thing is though, I sought of get where he is coming from, so with that in mind here's a choice
Result or performance?
Result- Do you want to see us get 3 points today regardless of how dire a performance or spectacle a match it is
or
Performance- Do you want to be entertained, especially with a Saturday TV audience, we are on show to the nation and given an entertaining game, regardless of result may see a few more come down to the ground for future games.

Get yourself down there you wimp! You'll be missing the Solihull game because you're Christmas shopping with the Mrs next. You might even see a goal or two. Hopefully at the right end. |

That is the Tony Pulis conundrum,isn't it? Do you want to see exciting, attacking, entertaining football? Or are you happy with grinding out a result? Ultimately, we want to see entertaining football. That's why we go. However, we realise it can't be like that every week. So, we'll take a result as the alternative and be happy with that. In our present situation, we'd probably take either. In the short term fans will take the result. Longer term it's entertainment. |

I was coming, but at 1200 ft up and an inch of snow already and snow on and off all morning I can't risk not getting home. Pity, I was looking forward to it.

Made the right choice- tv gives you a better view. No width, no game management and too many players of very average ability. I fault Lynch for two goals but the defence was shocking. Failure to do the simple pass and go and retain the ball sadly lacking. Chester need to learn from this very quickly.
