If he was representing the club in an official capacity at the time, I would agree, but speaking purely as a fan I think Jeff had a right to give an opinion on a potential candidate in the same way as anyone else does, although I admit I didn't see what he actually said. The paid employee was unquestionably out of line though. He gave comment BEFORE the manifestos had been publicly released though, which was not acceptable in the slightest. Besides the number of followers he has on facebook and twitter at the time who were active CFU members. It was a clear abuse of his position as a then 'popular' former board member. No doubt for me it would have swayed the vote. He should never have involvement in our club again That's irrelevant. It's not his fault how many people listen to him.

That's why I said he's abused his position as a then respected former board member to bring the process of election into disrupte BEFORE THE MANIFESTOS WERE RELEASED. There is no defending it. Come down off that bloody fence for once in your sodding life

As I'm sure you well know, myself and the other individual concerned have had many online conversations. Mostly in public for anyone to see. I'm sorry if you don't agree with comments about an individual that had consistently been derogatory about me during my time on the board, and in public too. Maybe you have an opinion on those comments too perhaps? Again, nothing was a surprise to anyone at the time. I gave an opinion AFTER the individual went public on his desire to go for a place on the board. If he didn't want any feedback on that then why go public? By the way, I'll always be involved with our club. Til I die Al.

Capital letters don't make you right.

With regards to what Al is saying, about that candidate who put himself up for election, I had a meeting with meeting with the chairman at the time just before the AGM when I was about to fill the election forms in, and he said that would it be a waste of a vote for him and 2 other candidates that I was going to vote for because they were Chester Fans through and through. While we are on the subject the communication from the club is non exsistent, I have e-mailed the club on several times and had no reply, and we are supposed to be co-owners of the club!
