Please tell me this is a wind up. If these so called players and team management want to go on a self financed jolly fair enough. If MM or the board have sanctioned this out of club funds then I give up, and call for their immediate resignations. In fact this would so p... me off , and I am usually fairly considered and moderate in my views, that CFU membership and season ticket may well be going back. Next thing you now the board, MM, and staff will be going as well. Bet the volunteers don't get treated so well, now that would be a good use of some funds. If they go out on the jolly in Chester think things could turn nasty if they encounter some of the more "boisterous" fans.

I'm guessing this is the Christmas Party seeing as we have a week off and Marcus probably wouldn't be too impressed with them all being pissed over the Christmas playing period. That said, they may actually play better with a few wetties down them! Let's face it, they'd struggle to play worse!

Think BT Sport also said (even it was 0-0) that all the players were due to show their faces in the bar after the match. Anyone know if that happened? Can't imagine they fit a great reception if they did dare.

Can't imagine they fit a great reception if they did dare. It did happen but the bar was empty as most fans likely decided to head straight home (from Chester Exiles twitter)

Only player I saw in the bar after the game was Ak having his MOTM photos. I left after 20 minutes though.
As for the Christmas night out, every team has one but the argument against the board (i.e. our money) funding it is a good point considering the general theme of "we haven't got a pot to piss in."
