Is about as effective as naming Pat Nevin and Perry Groves as non playing Subs - Why and what are his injury woes - as much as I think we miss him I'm afraid we can't carry on employing him anymore he must have played only a handful of games in the last year- it's a crying shame but we have to cut the cord I think

Love him to bits as a player but per minute played he’s very expensive.

I was a quality player in my youth and care for the Club but I don't take a wage off the Club- how far does loyalty go this injury woe is into its second year now - he never plays- by the way don't get me wrong if he recovers and gets games my perspective would be different

How much is he paid a week? That would be confidential. I spoke to him 2 weeks ago and he said he hoped to play some part at Brisbane Road, but that never materialised. We are missing him, but we will need to accept that he's going to be taking up a squad place for the next 66 to 70 league games and possibly not playing very many of those. We do make it difficult for ourselves. |

I can sort of forgive Mahon as anyone that knows him will know that he's desperate to play football, and for Chester. It's the signings like Harry White that are frustrating. He's a disaster in terms of injury and always has been. I think sometimes though we need to stop looking for excuses and realise that this team JM has signed isn't good enough. MB has come in and looked desperately for a few additions and in an ideal world I bet he'd not have signed 75% of them but that's the position were in unfortunately. I'd go as far as to say he'd only have signed Archer and Halls Johnson if we were not so desperate, maybe the keeper as back up and the young lad to develop but not play a major part.
