Really beginning to tighten up into a group of 5 at the bottom at the moment
Torquay drawing Solihull 1 up v Orient Guiseley with 1 or 2 games in hand
2 points separating the bottom 4, with Orient 3 points above and then a further 4 to Barrow and Eastleigh
Could do with some late goals in our favour

It is really tight now. Whilst we are still 3 points off safety, we are only 2 off Solihull now. Meanwhile, Orient are in further trouble but thankfully we have a game in hand.

Would rather the points than the game in hand.

It's a sorry state of affairs that we already hoping other results go our way ! I think most fans are getting a bit fed up of constantly battling relegation, maybe dropping down a division might do us good we might actually win a few games .

I’ve seen a few comments (not on here) this week to the effect that Orient will be fine now they’ve brought in Justin Edinburgh but I’m not so sure. He’s proved himself at this level previously with Newport but when a club is on a downward spiral as Orient are it can be hard to turn it round and their recent results show the trouble they are in. Mickey Adams for example had proved himself at League 2 and above when he took over at Tranmere a few years back but he couldn’t haul them out of trouble and they ended that season by suffering a second successive relegation.
Will be interesting to see as well how long Halifax stick with Billy Heath if their current awful run of form continues. Hopefully until December 23rd af least anyway!

Much prefer points then games in hands when we were in the Blue Square North i think Halifax were 11 games behind due to there unfit pitch they had to play Saturday Tuesday and Thursday to play catch up

He has a fair point.
Doesn't sit that well with me in the context of the season we're having. In fact we've been consistently poor for just about a full year now, so I'm not sure what it's in celebration or reward of.

If you don't want people on this site who can't tell the difference between their and there, it's going to be a lot emptier place. If our players were on the piss, it's surely worth a mention, be it right or wrong.

If they're using club funds for this, then yes I have a problem. as the money would be better off used elsewhere. If it's coming out their own pocket then fair enough.

So sad to see Coventry City at an almost empty Ricoh Arena. Heard from a Coventry fan that they may be playing at Leamington next season. All down to SISU, an offshore hedge fund.

It was their Xmas do. I don’t understand people having a problem with it, should no team that’s occupying a relegation spot be allowed a Xmas party?
