Champions, still in the FA Cup & the Champions League but in real danger of going down. Losing Kante was massive IMO but I think Huth & Morgan have been poor this season. Some inadequate signings & a real lack of belief is bringing them to the brink. Has Raneri lost the dressing room too...? Fairytale gone sour.

Starting to wonder if Kante is that good he can win this crap league on his own.

I had a feeling at the start of the season that they might struggle.

They look doomed. Players look lost on the pitch, low on confidence, fans are despondent. It's quite remarkable given 12 months ago everything they did turned to gold. It wasn't through sheer luck they won the league either. They genuinely were the best team in the Premier League last season. Worked hard, ground out results and deservedly won the League. It's a shame that it's all turned sour for them. Can Ranieri be blamed? In my eyes, no. This is down to the players. While you can criticise them now, you can't help but feel that they have nothing else to prove. They did the unthinkable. Leicester fans can hold their heads high, despite this seasons failings. Many other "bigger" clubs have not been able to do what they have done. It's something that won't be matched on these shores for a long time I think. As for people questioning Ranieri's future? Behave. Man deserves the freedom of the City of Leicester for what he did. Throw in a statue for good measure too. Not the sack. But you do have to fear for them. They look a poor team. Only Sunderland and Palace have looked worse than them this season and that's why I think they will (sadly) fill the bottom 3 come May. It would be a sorry twist to a footballing fairytale and while we will talk about Leicester's title success for years, we'll also be saying "but the defence of their title ended in relegation." We don't want that, do we?

Teams like Man U in their prime were born winners and had the appetite to go for it year after year. Leicester had a team of cast offs that had the season of their lives, and that lack of winning pedigree has probably affected their hunger and desire. I don't blame them really, after years of these lads jobbing around various clubs they did the unthinkable and know that is the pinnacle of their careers. I also think teams have figured out how to play against them too, and Ranieri has been trying many different ideas trying to find something that works. As we nearly found out under Burr last season, if you haven't figured out your best team or formation at this stage of the season then you will be in a dogfight, and at least we had Ross Hannah who was on fire whereas Vardy couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo these days. Wouldn't surprise me to see them beat Sevilla in the Champions League though.....it's basically a free swing for them and you can bet the players and fans will be pumped up for it.

Certainly not much of a party Jamie Vardy's having this year. It's like one where he's run out of beer and crisps, only the kids from school chess club have turned up, and his mum and dad have stuck around to make sure nobody is being too silly.

Good way of looking at it. Unless they get some birds down there and sneak some Hooch in then you fear for them.

One way of looking at it would be that their achievement last season is actually magnified by their struggles. Sandwiched between their title win is two desperate relegation scraps. I don't think it would ruin their story by any means even if do get relegated.
Its also odd to think they have a decent chance of getting into the FA Cup 6th Round and playing an attacking team like Sevilla might actually allow the space for Mahrez and Vardy to reproduce some of last seasons form.
