I wonder if anyone at the club has thought of teaching the players to pass the ball to each other, mark opposing forwards in stead of letting them roam free around our penalty area, learn how the offside rule works instead of getting caught offside again and again every match, and finally put a bit of effort in and break sweat during a game. Punters may want to pay the going rate to watch a half decent match, instead of dropping prices hoping people will pay £8 to watch the shite we are currently having to endure

Sorry but I'm giving this one a miss. Got better things to do. Not even sure I'm going on Saturday. If the team can't put any effort in why should I?

Because bad players, bad managers, bad backroom staff, bad office staff, bad directors and in the past bad owners come and go, but supporters are for life. I worked out that on average, since I've began watching regularly in 1980, the average is about 4.5 shite years to one good one. Football is pendulus, and it will swing back for us. Don't be 'that' guy. The one in the pub who 'used to go down when they were winning, but *they are shit/the ground is shit/they don't win/I watch it on the TV (*delete where applicable).

Good god man where would we be if everyone thought like that This is Chester and the majority of seasons since my first game in 1961 have been crap but hey I still go when I can and would certainly be there at every game if I still lived in the vicinity of Chester

The long spells of mediocrity make those rare moments of "success" all the more enjoyable whether it's a single win or the occasional moderately successful season. Thing is, nobody can predict when it will happen, so that is why you go to games!

Problem is we attracted a lot of new fans in the success years and have failed to keep them sadly.

is this going to be advertised on the clubs social media accounts?
Also would be a good one to use the database to advertise the game, send out fliers via email, get it pushed every day on Social Media about the game for a tenner..

As for the cup tie I'm afraid generally we don't turn up for these as a reformed club. I must also stress that I need to look after my mental health, because it's been affected by what the team have been dishing up these past 12 months.

Good move by the club. I'll be there. Have to agree with Hanibal though in the respect that our record in cups is beyond pathetic.

NWAS your points make perfect sense in terms of loyalty etc. Of course it’s not going to be wall to wall success following a club like hours. That said in recent times it’s been bordering on shambolic. Currently there is little sign of improvement. The situation was and should of been avoided. Yes I’ve lived through the dark Times smith, guttermen etc. That was out of your control as a fan.. When you get an incompetent board run the club down through awful management etc then it becomes for me hard to just keep giving regardless. Especially when these are people who Supposedly care about our club. Dark times and very sad.

Talking about games being advertised, why has Saturday’s crucial game not had the slightest bit of a push on social media. We whinge about lack of support. A number of factors can be attributed to that but if the club can’t be arsed to even put out a tweet in the build up to a game then what hope is there?

The marketing is a joke at the moment.
